Those who practice great austerities, clinging to their own views seeking liberation. They consider their own practices to be the supreme brahmacarya (pure conduct). They consider themselves to have attained the state of a great immortal, having attained the ultimate Dharma. They believe bathing can purify themselves, all views of the tirthikas (non-Buddhists) cling to this. They believe they are born from Brahma, and after death, are reborn in Brahma's realm. They believe they can attain liberation from bonds, reaching the unobstructed and peaceful Dharma. They believe they can attain peaceful nirvana, obtaining the supreme parinirvana (complete extinction). They believe they can understand the limits of suffering and happiness, and that greed and other such dharmas are extinguished.
