Then slowly exhale, allowing the wind to flow smoothly, while gently guiding the upper wind downwards into the body. Slowly pull the lower wind upwards, bringing the upper and lower winds together at the navel. The lower wind stirs, forming a flame resembling a crouching female leopard, burning below the navel. Control the wind again, causing it to burn at the navel. On the third instance of controlling the wind, the heat reaching the heart causes drops like a string of pearls to fall from the 'హం' (Tibetan, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable) syllable at the crown of the head. As it touches the flame of the heart, imagine hearing a 'sorsor' sound. Keeping the flame from extinguishing and the flame from trembling is a crucial key. Because this first generates heat, then bliss, and then the samadhi of bliss and emptiness, it is like the root of the Six Dharmas. As Niguma said: 'Transforming oneself into the three channels and four chakras with skillful means, A (Tibetan, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: seed syllable) and HAṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable) burning and dripping, instantaneously possessing the adornment of the four joys. The union of Wisdom Dakini, the four joys of contaminated and uncontaminated arise in sequence.' Second, Tummo as clothing: The body posture and visualization are the same as before, with the hands crossed and the palms covering the left and right kidneys. Imagine four egg-sized flames at the navel and the left and right kidneys directly behind it. As before, through the combination and control of wind, experience the rapid generation of heat, and thus it is accomplished. If one is young, imagine the flame to be the size of a pigeon's egg or a goose's egg. Tummo as food: The body posture is the same as before, and on top of the previous visualization, visualize the water wind as white and the fire wind as red. Through the combination of wind, imagine a terrifying flame descending from the throat, filling the entire abdomen with red flames. Because this is prone to obstacles, it should be combined with experience. First, blow the wind, then blow the fire wind, and then blow according to the color of the wind rising from below. Then, visualize grasping the yellow earth wind rising from the roots of the teeth, guiding the upper and lower winds inward and combining them, imagining the navel filled with yellow. Then, grasp the white water wind rising from the upper palate, filling it with white. Grasp the red fire wind rising from the heart, filling it with red. Then, grasp the blue wind wind, combining the upper and lower winds, imagining the abdomen filled with blue. This will generate heat quickly and reduce obstacles. Fourth, Tummo as a cushion: On top of the body posture and visualization being the same as before, when sleeping, curl up like a dog, placing the right side underneath, then lie down, imagining the red flame exhaled from the nostrils filling the entire mattress, then slightly control the wind and visualize.

1-223 Fifth, requesting the empowerment of existence: Visualize the lama on the crown of your head as before. From his heart, light radiates, inviting all the lamas, yidams (Tibetan: ཡི་དམ་, Sanskrit: iṣṭadevatā, Iṣṭa-deva, chosen deity), Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas to manifest as Vajradhara (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་, Sanskrit: Vajradhāra, Vajradhāra, Vajra-holder) and dissolve into you. Offer your body and possessions to the all-encompassing precious lama, and pray: 'Precious lama, please grant me the empowerment of existence.' Upon this request, visualize white nectar flowing from the lama's toe, filling you up to your brow. This purifies the obscurations of the body, grants the vase empowerment, empowers you to practice the generation stage, and allows you to manifest the Nirmanakaya (Tibetan: སྤྲུལ་སྐུ་, Sanskrit: nirmāṇakāya, nirmāṇakāya, emanation body). Visualize red nectar flowing, filling you up to your throat, granting the secret empowerment, purifying the obscurations of speech, empowering you to practice the completion stage, and allowing you to manifest the Sambhogakaya (Tibetan: ལོངས་སྐུ་, Sanskrit: sambhogakāya, sambhogakāya, enjoyment body). Visualize blue nectar flowing, filling you up to your heart, purifying the obscurations of mind, granting the wisdom empowerment, empowering you to practice the union of the generation and completion stages, and allowing you to manifest the Dharmakaya (Tibetan: ཆོས་སྐུ་, Sanskrit: dharmakāya, dharmakāya, dharma body). Finally, visualize the lama dissolving into light and merging with you, so that the lama's body, speech, and mind become inseparable from your own body, speech, and mind. All the sins, obscurations, habitual tendencies of body, speech, and mind are purified, you receive the four empowerments, and you are empowered to practice the path of non-elaboration. 1-224 And you contemplate the manifestation of the four Kayas (Tibetan: སྐུ་བཞི་, Sanskrit: caturkāya, caturkāya, four bodies).’ Thus, all sins, obscurations, and broken samayas (Tibetan: དམ་ཚིག་, Sanskrit: samaya, samaya, vow) are purified, obstacles will not arise, and samadhi (Tibetan: ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་, Sanskrit: samādhi, samādhi, concentration) that has not arisen will arise, and those that have arisen will increase more and more. Third, regarding the aftermath, there are two parts. First, the self-liberation of obstacles: Visualize the two breasts and their center, making three points. Directly behind these three points, visualize three extremely terrifying eyes of wrathful deities. From the crown of the head to the soles of the feet, visualize all the pores as eyes of wrathful deities, or like the holes of a honeycomb. From these eyes, visualize all diseases appearing as blue-red, all evil spirits appearing as sinful snakes, frogs, lizards, etc., and all sins and obscurations appearing as smoke, flowing out like water filtered from a honeycomb, while holding kumbhaka (breath retention). If kundas (Tibetan: ཀུནྡ་, Sanskrit: kuṇḍa) arise in the lower part, eliminate them through the visualization of whirling wheels, extraction, control, and subjugation. The secret instruction for riding the wind-horse in the aftermath: Visualize a blue wind-bird in each of your two armpits and two soles of your feet. Place two vajra fists under your armpits, mainly exhaling the earth-wind and inhaling the wind-wind, combining the upper and lower winds, and visualize circling the four continents and Mount Meru. When walking after mastering the wind, visualize the four birds... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
