It leads people to incline towards using reasoning to refute inherent existence. That is, first, by reasoning and inference, concepts such as birth and true establishment are negated, and it is insisted that this negation itself does not establish any other concept. Although the Vaisheshika school also believes that reasoning does not establish what is to be proven, here, the Madhyamika does not want to establish concepts such as non-existence and emptiness through reasoning, even if people naturally tend towards them. Because everything measured by reasoning is nothing more than false, other reasoning is needed to negate them. So, how can reasoning become a valid cognition? That is, negating the elaboration of one aspect, not deceiving conventional truth, or ultimately being connected to the non-elaborate ultimate truth. In general, any cognition of an object that is related to an object is not considered a valid cognition of the ultimate truth, which is the view of this great being, and will be explained immediately thereafter. Second, combine the reasoning of the 'Entering the Middle Way' with Nagarjuna's scriptural quotations to summarize the main points. First, the example: 'A dream city has been destroyed, the conceptual thought that holds this, the destruction of the city that is measured, if the city itself does not exist, then there is nothing.' As it says in 'Entering the Middle Way': 'For example, in a dream, a child has died, the conceptual thought that says there is no child, is an obstacle to the conceptual thought that holds there is a child, and that is also false.' That is the example. Second, the meaning: 'In reality, there is no object, the wisdom that holds this thought, the true negation that is measured, that is also not a true object.' As it says: 'Whatever is a false object, that object appears as false.' Second, if true establishment does not exist, then existence and non-existence must be established, if this is the view of the author of 'Pramanavarttika', then why is it said here? This is because it has been clearly stated in Nagarjuna's scriptural quotations, and Shantideva quoted the scriptural quotation that establishes conventional truth: 'Thus, for an object that does not exist, refutation is not possible.' Third, summarize the main points: 'Therefore, it must be determined that there is no object, the object to be negated is not established, at this time, the negation is separated from the basis, and will not remain before wisdom.' As it says: 'When and what does not exist?' The meaning of the same verse. And, 'Thus, if an object is not existent, its negation is also not established, apart from these two, any meaning, also...' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'It is impossible to go to the realm of existence.' As it is said: 'If the object to be examined is non-existent or existent, when it is separated from its basis, because there is no other form, it will be pacified and without focus.' This is exactly its meaning. If these two verses are connected, as it is said: 'The habit of emptiness matures, it can reverse the habit of things. Getting used to nothing, eventually it can also abandon it.' Therefore, it must be explained in this way: After hearing how emptiness arises, immediately cut off the superimposition with the wisdom of thought, the order of what is done in the mind, and the way of dwelling in the absence of focus with the wisdom of meditation. Among the two, the former has three orders: reversing the wrong perception with the yoga of illusion, abandoning the transformation perception with the yoga of nothing, and abandoning the perception of non-existence with the yoga of no focus. The first is the first two verses, the second is the two verses after that, and the third is explained by one verse after that. The main practice is the way of dwelling shown by the third verse. ༄། །How to practice it as a path? Secondly, how to familiarize oneself with this path, regarding the aspect of means, the way of learning has been discussed together with recognizing the aspect of means. Here, regarding the aspect of wisdom, the way of dwelling is: Therefore, from the characteristics of what is to be known, reverse the movement of the mind, pacify the collection of elaborations, and dwell the mind well on the meaning of selflessness.' Therefore, the way of dwelling is: 'Thus, familiarizing oneself with emptiness can pacify the clinging to reality, and selflessness is also without clinging, at this time it is called true seeing.' The first verse shows the way of dwelling in the path of accumulation, the second verse shows the way of seeing directly in the path of seeing, and the sentences 'Thus, the defilement of seeing' etc. show the way in which the realm of reality and wisdom merge into one in the samadhi of the path of meditation. That is to say, in the samadhi of the path of accumulation, although the movement of the mind is reversed from the characteristics of the emptiness of what is to be known, because there is a mind that takes it as an object, it is said 'dwell the mind well'. In the path of seeing, both the object and the mind with the object become one with emptiness in their own nature, therefore, not seeing anything is called true seeing. If asked: 'Can one admit that this samadhi is without mind?' Answer: At that time, if all objects are explained as self-empty, then how can the mind with the object not be empty? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
