Is it not already stated that everything is known? If there is no mirror-like wisdom in equipoise, then that wisdom contradicts the Dharmakaya (chos kyi sku, 法身, dharmakāya, the body of dharma); if it exists, then the Dharmakaya should know all knowable things, wouldn't that be a fault? It is not so, because it has been said to be the Sambhogakaya (longs spyod rdzogs pa'i sku, 报身, saṃbhogakāya, the enjoyment body), and it does not truly merge into the Dharmata (chos nyid, 法性, dharmatā, the nature of reality), and it has been said to be an illusory appearance. If it is not the Dharmakaya, then it contradicts the Buddha's wisdom, it is not so, because at that time both equipoise and post-equipoise are the complete accumulation, and it is the cause of complete abandonment and realization, because it is formed by an accumulation of one cause. Then, wouldn't it become non-contradictory to each other? It is not so, as it is said: 'Dependent on one accumulation, the forms and so on are distinguished.' Like this, there are many in all states of Samsara (འཁོར་བ་, 轮回, saṃsāra, cyclic existence) and Nirvana (མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདས་པ་, 涅槃, nirvāṇa, cessation). If that wisdom is not the Dharmakaya, then what constitutes the possession of the Sambhogakaya? As it is said: 'Or the protector, the four truths are the creators of emptiness.' And 'From the protector, it is truth and steadfastness.' and so on. Bodhisattvas (བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་, 菩萨, bodhisattva, enlightenment being) of the tenth Bhumi (ས་བཅུ་པ་, 十地, bhūmi, level) can infer in this way. Because this has become the appearance of other beings to be tamed, it cannot be proven that the Buddha possesses it. If you say so, then, due to the common cause of the complete accumulation of the two accumulations, the Sambhogakaya possesses that wisdom, and the tenth Bhumi can prove this, so it is proven to exist. This only exists in conventional truth, so its meaning cannot be understood. For your view, it also does not exist in ultimate truth, and for those who please children with dust, we will answer by separating the two truths. Secondly, later Tibetans say: 'In the past, even people like Ngok Lotsawa (Rngog lo tsā ba) thought that the Buddha had no wisdom, and that ultimate truth was not knowable, and the heresy of Khampo Che (khams po che) arose.' This needs to be examined, in two points: First, regarding the debate of whether wisdom exists or not, our own view has been established. In general, it is not only the Great Self that is unsuitable, even in Tibet, in the 'Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment': 'If wisdom does not see, the self-nature of all dharmas, then speak of this wisdom, that without conceptualization.' Not to mention the Buddha-ground, when determining that all knowable things are merely self-empty, there is nothing left over. All the authors of the Stages of the Doctrine say this, from Patsab Lotsawa (Pa tshab lo tsā ba) and his disciples, to Lama Redawa (bla ma red 'da' ba), all those who acknowledge the Prasangika (ཐལ་འགྱུར་བ་, 应成派, prāsaṅgika, consequentialist) say this, and so do the followers of Lochen. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jug Trolungpa, Zhangtshe, and Chos Yeshe all consider this statement to be reasonable. Sakya Pandita said that the state of Buddha transcends the existence or non-existence of wisdom, which also explains the same principle. Because in the state of Buddha, conventional truth is not accepted, and ultimate truth is free from all elaborations such as existence and non-existence. Jetsun Drakpa's writings state: 'Some say that the teacher Chandrakirti believed that the Buddha had no wisdom, which is a double slander against both the Buddha and the teacher.' This is the view of the Tantric tradition. Most later Tibetan scholars, according to the Madhyamaka view, acknowledge that the Svabhavikakaya (self-nature body) Dharmakaya (body of truth) of the Buddha is a non-affirming negation. They often refute the mindless Dharmakaya, which is self-contradictory. If the Svabhavikakaya is not wisdom, but it is not contradictory that there is wisdom in that state, then it is not contradictory that the Dharma nature is not meditative wisdom, but there is mirror-like wisdom in that state. After explaining it this way, saying that the meditative state of the Buddha's realm is mindless, and distinguishing that the Buddha has universal wisdom, this is actually Shantideva's view. 'Because there is no object of focus, it is extremely peaceful,' in the absence of any object of focus, there should be no subject-object consciousness. Immediately after that, it says 'Wish-fulfilling Jewel,' 'appearing as the body of the Victorious One.' In this system, appearance is merely the mind of the appearer, which has already been refuted in the previous refutation of the Cittamatra, so it must be considered to be included in the Buddha's realm. Chandrakirti's view is also the same. As he said: 'Dry firewood of knowledge' etc., until 'appearing while being free from elaboration.' Then quoting: 'Dharma nature is not an object of knowledge, because it cannot be cognized.' In fact, some say that some things are not knowledge, and it is also said that 'in Akanishta, unsurpassed wisdom was attained.' The Two Truths also explain the same principle. As it is said: 'At that time, signs will not appear, and it will not arise in order to abide firmly.' And it is said: 'All things that arise dependently, the Omniscient One sees directly.' Furthermore, in the Blaze of Reasoning, Asanga and his brother, when refuting the acceptance of self-awareness in the Buddha's realm, pointed out the faults of becoming a Bodhi with characteristics, etc. Therefore, it is impossible to have direct perception that takes the non-affirming Dharma nature as its object, because self-nature is emptiness. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
