Therefore, it is done by the wise in order to enter the sacred meaning.’ For example, when Dignāga (Phyogs kyi glang pos) established a reason for the Sāṃkhya (grangs can) to prove that the ‘chief’ (gts’ bo) does not exist, even though there are no three qualities of existence, he acknowledged the three qualities of exclusion and extensively acknowledged the completeness of the three modes and the manner of accomplishing the provable. The second case is, if one generally acknowledges that eyes and so on are established as valid and then says that truth is negated, then one deviates from the side of non-inherent existence, because this destroys the mode of self-emptiness, such as ‘eyes are empty of eyes.’ If one says that this is the meaning of existing conventionally and not truly, then this is also acknowledged by the phenomenalists, because they also acknowledge that although it does not exist in the face of considering the state of affairs, it does exist in the face of delusion. When establishing a reason for negating the object to be negated, it is not permissible to eliminate the appearance of false dharma and false signs, otherwise the reciprocal relation will not be established. Attachment to the mark of truth does not harm the inference that measures the mark of untruth, because a mind that has not entered the state of affairs does not harm the other. The second is: ‘The illusion of duality, all dharmas are non-abiding, Madhyamaka, this distinction of the two systems is also a wonder of ignorance.’ This is a satire on the thought of Jñānaśrī (dza~nAna shrI), because he says that illusion is completely pure and divides the Madhyamaka into two, saying that nature is completely pure. As mentioned above, this is not to identify the object to be proven of Madhyamaka arguments such as ‘separation from one and many’ as an appearance like an illusion, but to grasp a negation and identify it as the ultimate truth, and it must be acknowledged that the inference at that time is a valid measure, which is measurable. These are contrary to the views of the Madhyamakālaṃkāra (dbu ma rgyan) that appearances are explained as the three truths. Furthermore, on top of all dharmas, merely negating truth and nature, etc., and explaining it as the view of the non-abiding Madhyamaka is extremely unreasonable.’ These statements are a wonder of ignorance, because even the Svātantrika teachers do not think so. As Śāntideva (zhi ba lha) said: ‘At that time, there is no other form, completely pacified, without an object.’ Even the non-abiding Madhyamaka who proclaims like this does not think so. To show its manner in a small way, in the two truths, the negation of birth and so on is also for the sacred meaning. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
