Non-existence, not arguing immediately, but also pacifying the causes of disputes in the end. Distinguishing firmly, summer retreat, not non-existent, but existent, it will happen, like a wish-fulfilling tree. I prostrate to you! In the preparatory stage of practicing restoration of vows, first confessing the existing transgressions is indispensable. If it cannot be done, one must also recite the five confession texts, confessing transgressions in their respective situations, which is absolutely necessary. From then on, in order to smoothly enter the procedure of restoring vows, the Uposatha (斋戒) is the best method to liberate people from transgressions. I prostrate to you! By demarcating the great boundary, in their respective undertakings, whatever the Vinaya holder does, even if there is only one Vinaya holder, can universally obtain benefits, easily obtain, not be separated, manifest light, eliminate the root causes of Sangha (僧团) division, prevent all possible situations, and make all those punished who live in other places not cross the boundary. Considering these, I prostrate to you! Demarcating a great boundary around many small boundaries, not only when needed, but also at certain times, when entering extensive undertakings, in order to enable the various parts of the Sangha's undertakings in their respective mandalas (坛城) to be completed without obstacles, making body and mind comfortable. I prostrate to you! In order to live comfortably, for the vihāra (精舍,梵文,vihāra,abode), cushions, and numerous items and properties not specifically mentioned, without having to exert effort to bless them, for the sizes of clothes and medicines and how to enjoy the blessings, by allowing these, enabling those who protect the precepts to live comfortably. I prostrate to you! Thus, from this beginning, may the offering flowers arising from this, emitting fragrance, be as auspicious as the sacred land of sandalwood, and benefit sentient beings for a long time! Auspicious! 《A Letter Distinguishing Truth from Falsehood: Declaring the Footprints of Fearless Chandrakirti, Drawing Out the Melodious Tree of Definitive Meaning》 Auspicious! 《A Letter Distinguishing Truth from Falsehood: Declaring the Footprints of Fearless Chandrakirti, Drawing Out the Melodious Tree of Definitive Meaning》[Written by Wisdom] To the footprints of Chandrakirti, which do not diminish the part of realizing the ultimate truth, do not weaken the light of reputation in the conventional truth, and are clearly visible on the path of dependent origination like the sky, I prostrate! Like the worldly laws followed by the world, you gladly accept and benefit all beings through numerous accumulations of merit. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You are the guide of beings, I pay homage to you, the master who pioneered the Zongkapa's system of exoteric and esoteric teachings! You explain the doctrine of [temporary Madhyamaka] as it is, and ultimately lead all the conceptualizations of existence and peace into the great path of self-nature nirvana, guiding them to bliss, I pay homage to you! You reveal that all that should be taken and abandoned, as the objects of consciousness, are empty in essence in the realm of wisdom, as the path of non-contradictory unity, I pay homage to you! You say that all dharmas have never existed from the beginning, so they are liberated from the extremes of permanence and annihilation, and you destroy all attachments from the Madhyamaka path, I pay homage to that speaker free from extremes! You say that all dharmas are empty in their own essence, and in the realm of [wisdom], no manifestations of elaboration are seen, but in the realm of [consciousness], you speak of dependent origination based on reliance and dependence, I offer this to you, the fearless eloquent one! When your exquisite teachings are obscured, those Indras burdened by fame and gain stretch out their crooked hands of discrimination, presuming to obscure the radiance of your teachings. But when your writings, as bright as the sun and moon, reveal the opportunity for eloquence with their vast wisdom and beautiful form, will not your teachings run peacefully like the moon? When you lead beings onto the path of merit, you speak in accordance with worldly norms. Then, do you approve of accepting or rejecting whatever [nominal and truly existent] is imputed by innate delusion? You explain all the ultimate meanings of worldly customs as the basis for conventional truth. Then, do you not acknowledge that the self and true existence [produced by innate ignorance] are not even conventional truths, and therefore not conventional truths, as your doctrine [of establishing conventional truth]? The self and true existence, etc., fabricated by non-Buddhists [non-Buddhists who are greatly moved by the sleep of wisdom], are explained as conventional truths of worldly norms. Then, do you think that the omniscient mind can see all the differences in [the inverted of the world and yogis] conventional truths? Regarding the two truths of worldly customs [conventional and ultimate], you say that there is an inverted conventional truth. [Prasangikas do not accept true conventional truth], then, is it also your doctrine that whatever is a conventional truth is a false conventional truth? In worldly customs and Madhyamaka doctrines, is whatever is a conventional truth an illusion? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
