Collection of Instructions by the Great Scholar Shakya Chokden skc108: Biographies of the Six Ornaments of the World, Arya Gunaprabha, and Palden Chandrakirti Biographies of the Six Ornaments of the World, Arya Gunaprabha, and Palden Chandrakirti Namo Manjushriye! The biography of the glorious great master Arya Nagarjuna, called 'Dispelling the Darkness of the Heart with the Light of Definitive Meaning'. Biographies of the Six Ornaments of the World, Arya Gunaprabha, and Palden Chandrakirti Namo Manjushriye! The biography of the glorious great master Arya Nagarjuna, called 'Dispelling the Darkness of the Heart with the Light of Definitive Meaning'. Constantly abiding in the forest of the peaceful Dharmadhatu, to protect all beings from the path of signs, with the voice of dependent origination as illusion, making the Teaching of the Sage like the midday sun, I prostrate! The two truths posited by the mind of a child, abiding as they are, practicing the Dharma of acceptance and rejection, the two bodies of perfect aspiration and benefiting others, that wise guide, I prostrate! Whatever is the ultimate meaning of worldly customs, the nature of false objects and emptiness, explaining and definitely leading to the path of goodness, that learned speaker, I prostrate! The ultimate meaning of the Aryas, all are said to be valid conventional truths, thus all phenomena, inexpressible, the great path of Dharmakaya, that heroic illuminator, I prostrate! First explaining self, then no-self, and finally the stages of freedom from elaboration, gathering many retinues, maturing and liberating them, I prostrate to the one who upholds the Teacher's doctrine! All aspects of vast conduct, the nature of the Four Noble Truths and the nature of the Paramitas, and all three great natures with emptiness as the reins, that supreme leader, I prostrate! The three natures of Dharma and the doctrine of freedom from elaboration, as they are under the wise, before the Aryas, beyond purity, self, bliss, and permanence, speaking of the way to go to the other shore, I prostrate! Whatever signs arise in the realm of consciousness, because they are established in dependence, therefore in the realm of wisdom, because they are empty in nature, it is taught as the union of appearance and emptiness, I prostrate to that valid person! If the great door of merit is not opened first, one might fall into nihilism with talk of emptiness, therefore, in worldly customs, showing the paths of happy migrations, I prostrate to that skillful means! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Homage! If the mind is not subdued by the nectar of selflessness, no matter how much merit is accumulated, it will still transmigrate in the worldly path. You are skilled at guiding beings to enter the four doors of liberation and step onto the path that transcends the world. I pay homage to you! If the inexpressible wrong path is not eliminated beforehand, one might cling to the self due to the words of scriptures. You understand the principle of non-proliferation and reveal the vajra nature of the mind as it is. I pay homage to you! The vajra nature of the mind, the wisdom of Dharmadhatu (ཆོས་དབྱིངས་,法界,dharmadhātu,法界), the ultimate Bodhicitta (བྱང་སེམས་,菩提心,bodhicitta,菩提心), the Tathagatagarbha (སངས་རྒྱས་སྙིང་པོ་,如来藏,tathāgatagarbha,如来藏), and the seven vajras taught in seven places, you clearly explain in the collection of praises. You explain that only non-dual wisdom is Dharmadhatu and the ultimate Bodhicitta. You believe that merely blocking the appearance of proliferation is Dharmadhatu, or that Dharmadhatu is the basis for purifying all obscurations, these views are not valid. You explain that self-aware wisdom, without any differences in the three stages, is the ultimate truth. You believe that defining the ultimate truth as merely blocking all extremes of proliferation is not your doctrine. You believe that explaining the Tathagatagarbha and the vajra of the mind with uncontaminated wisdom is your tradition. You believe that holding one's own mind emptiness as the Tathagatagarbha or vajra is not your doctrine. The so-called 'luminosity' is the aspect of awareness that is not contaminated by concepts and does not fall into any extreme. You believe that merely negating by blocking self-nature is not the true meaning of 'luminosity'. You explain that the self-nature luminosity has no difference in the three stages of base, path, and result, and is the ultimate intention of Dharmakaya (ཆོས་སྐུ,法身,dharmakāya,法身). You believe that clearly explaining that all beings possess the essence of Dharmakaya is not your doctrine. You explain that the Dharmadhatu obscured by defilements is sentient beings, and the Dharmadhatu free from obscurations is the Buddha. You believe that clearly explaining that all sentient beings are Buddhas is not your doctrine. You explain that one should not cling to permanence or annihilation for the mere clarity and awareness that is free from extremes and the middle way. You believe that because one does not cling to permanence or annihilation, one asserts that it is not wisdom, this statement is not your doctrine. The wisdom of Dharmadhatu is constant, peaceful, and eternal, which comes from the teachings of Maitreya (བྱམས་པ,慈氏,maitreya,慈氏). You believe that if one clings to the unborn and undying as constant and does not explain the awareness of Dharmadhatu in this way, you do not approve of this view. At the base stage, it is the basis of delusion in self; at the path stage, it is non-dual wisdom; at the result stage, it is the stainless Dharmakaya. All are the only uncontaminated wisdom. Regarding the way of knowing one's own nature, you do not explicitly explain that it is merely the negation of emptiness. Regarding Suchness (དེ་བཞིན་ཉིད,真如,tathatā,真如) with defilements, you do not explain that it is merely wisdom with rocks. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
