The text. In Nāgārjuna's writings, ultimately, all elaborations, When ceasing, are called Dharmadhātu (the realm of reality), Eliminating the extremes of elaboration such as existence and non-existence, There appears a situation where explanations are given without any assertions. At that time, for that which is free from all extremes of elaboration, Dharmadhātu, Jñāna (wisdom), Tathāgatagarbha (Buddha-nature), Prakṛtisthagotra (inherently abiding lineage), Vajra of Mind, etc., Many names with definite meanings are not used there. Those terms, for the Dharma free from elaboration, After gaining certainty, are irreversible words. The object referred to is, the assembly of Mahāyāna (Great Vehicle) noble ones, It is the occasion when predictions of Bodhi (enlightenment) are given. Lineage, lords of the earth, and non-self, in a sequence free from elaboration, After applying excellent intelligence, [In the assembly of residents], for the sacred self and the Vajra of Mind, What is relied upon is, the supreme Dharma, is the place of your blessing. The object of praise and the excellent tradition, The well-explained and the virtues of excellence possessed, The infinite beings, from Saṃsāra (cyclic existence) and Nirvāṇa (liberation), Completely liberated, are all gathered in the meaning of Sarvajña (omniscient). This passage is, The nectar rain of Nāgārjuna's feet, moistening the wish-fulfilling tree of intelligence, Approached by the renunciate Mañjuśrīpriyāmitra (Gentle Glory, Delightful Friend), The scribe is Dharmadhvaja (Banner of Dharma). May there be auspiciousness! Words of realization from Āryadeva (Noble God) having seen the face of the deity. Svasti! Words of realization from Āryadeva (Noble God) having seen the face of the deity. I prostrate to his feet. In the country of Siṃhala (Sri Lanka), of the king, That one who became the heart-son, In the delightful hundred-petaled garden, Was born miraculously in the center. In the Mañjuśrīmūlatantra (Fundamental Tantra of Mañjuśrī), the Buddhas Prophesied from the time of ordinary beings, Enduring even the giving away of his eyes, The prince named Āryadeva (Noble God). Unsubdued by other mundane births, The Tirthikas (non-Buddhists) who obtained the supreme gift, The arrogant ones entered the Buddha's teachings, You, who are revered by all beings. Having become the supreme son of Nāgārjuna, Composed the treatises that became the model, Like the treatises of the noble one, praised by all disciples And gained fame. When you uproot the clinging to extremes, Joyfully accepting reason, focusing on the practice of The essence of wisdom (Jñāna), That treatise, the Catuḥśataka (Four Hundred Verses). Initially established by Dharmapāla (Guardian of the Dharma), Later propagated by Śāntarakṣita (Protected by Peace) and his disciples, Known as Yogācāra-Madhyamaka (Yoga Practice Madhyamaka). The treatise composed by Dharmapāla, Is the view of Cittamātra (Mind-Only), Śreṣṭhadeva (Supreme God), Followed the view of niḥsvabhāva (no self-nature), The transformation into 'no self-nature' is a self-created term. Know that this is later... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

后来成为Virupa(毗卢巴)时,做了哪些重要的论著? 那和那的Madhyamaka(中观)的本尊观修是什么?

Here, from the treatises that assert emptiness of inherent existence, some say there is no other Madhyamaka (Middle Way). Those are just fabricated words of followers. May Dharma protectors bear witness: Initially, when practicing which secret mantra, did you see which deity? Later, when you became Virupa, what important treatises did you compose? What are the deity meditations of that and that Madhyamaka? Speak those here. Some think they understand the view of Paramita (Perfection of Wisdom), and say that the wisdom of union is to be practiced. Some say here is only mind, and some say non-elaboration, etc., like the Thal-Rang (Other-empty and Self-empty) treatises. Abandon those confusions and gain confidence. The essence of wisdom gathered from all, the author Aryadeva, for the sake of sacred wisdom, said there is nothing, what does that mean? In the face of wisdom that cuts off imputations, nothing exists, didn't you say that one should practice in the realm of self-aware wisdom? The meditation that cuts off imputations, if the need to practice is the intention of the Buddha, then you are arguing with Vimalakirti and the Lamp. When Nagarjuna's treatises are combined with secret mantra, Aryadeva and Virupa have already explained it, there is nothing else to seek. Those who lead those with mature faculties to the path, commentators and Shantarakshita, Padmasambhava and Yeshe Zhap, they are all authors of secret mantra. Aryadeva in his later years, through the practice of Guhyasamaja (Assembly of Secrets), resided on the eighth bhumi, this is stated in many reliable sources. His works such as the Compendium of Practice Lamp, the illusion and luminosity not mentioned in the Thal-Rang (Other-empty and Self-empty) treatises, and the stages of the view of union, are all explained in detail. All those, whether the view of the yogi Virupa exists, therefore, do you also say it is the view of the Mind-Only school? Because of scattering outwards from one's own blessings, one cannot understand like dreams and illusions, he said that, this view that transcends Madhyamaka (Middle Way), is the uncommon secret mantra. This and that arising from Madhyamaka (Middle Way), can you also boldly say it is only mind? In short, the intention of Nagarjuna and Aryadeva, Chandrakirti has clarified in the Entering the Middle Way, there is nothing else, this is the unspeakable of the wise. May the virtue arising from this explanation, like the crest jewel of the source of happiness on the peak of Mount Gangtise, may it attain perfect enlightenment! Mangalam! The words of realization of the noble Asanga, I, with a garland of white rays of the bright moon... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
