他还听闻了噶当派(Kadampa)的《教次第大论》(Great Treatise on the Stages of the Doctrine)和噶当零散派(Kadampa Thorbuwa)等的教法,以及许多护法神的教法。

He properly took the Bodhisattva vows, listened to Nāro's Six Dharmas and the Mahāmudrā with Five Limbs, and practiced them in his heart. He also listened to the Kadampa's Great Treatise on the Stages of the Doctrine and the teachings of Kadampa Thorbuwa, as well as many teachings on Dharma protectors. In short, this holy being, in many eons past, was exceedingly fond of giving, without stinginess, without jealousy towards others, loving all beings, and delighted in relying on true spiritual friends. He was pleased merely by seeing monks, which was the case from his youth. Later, he entered the precious Dharma, and from the very beginning, he tamed his mind, kept the vows properly, naturally inclined towards all stages of Dharma practice, was eager to learn widely, and diligently sought out wise and accomplished spiritual friends worthy of reliance. He often thought, 'Those great ones are of high birth, virtuous and pure, of great wealth, in places without obstacles to Dharma, taking birth by the power of aspiration.' Then, he attended upon spiritual friends like Mount Meru, entered the Three Vehicles in order, and became known as a great Bodhisattva. Next, how did he accumulate the accumulations of wisdom by perfecting the study and practice of the excellent path? When he was twenty-seven years old, he sat immovably on the throne of the wise, virtuous, and excellent, having reached the other shore of the ocean of his own and others' tenets, abiding in the essence of the all-pervading Vajrasattva. From early on, he repeatedly listened to the pure teachings of Jetsun Kunga Zangpo, like a thirsty person drinking clear water that thoroughly cools. Without succumbing to the many obstacles and drawbacks of the path, he went without interruption to the Ewam Monastery. He respectfully took the dust from the feet of that Rinpoche and attended upon him for three years. At that time, he first received the Bodhicitta ritual of the Madhyamaka school and the empowerment ritual of the Hevajra commentary school, thereby properly taking the two higher vows. Then, he gradually received about twenty-five empowerments related to the Four Classes of Tantra, as well as extremely many profound Dharma permissions and extensive oral transmission scriptures. At that time, his support was the practice of --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He listened to the explanations of the twenty vows' root verses and commentaries, including the preliminaries, main points, and conclusions, as well as various explanations of the vows of mantra and the assembly of precepts, along with many additional details. At that time, he listened to many transmissions of scriptures such as the Vinaya Sutras and the Hundred Thousand Tantras from masters such as Khuchar Bodhisattva. In the third year, upon returning, the master himself bestowed many offerings, mainly the monastic robe that he had blessed and cherished for a long time, the vajra bell, and the volumes of tantras, and invited him to sit on a high throne, performing the auspicious ceremony and consecration for the sake of spreading the teachings in the U-Tsang region. At that time, he also vowed to return to the master's presence in the future and made many prayers for the same auspicious connection. Then, gradually on the way back, he listened to various empowerments related to the Yoga Tantra from the lama of Rongri Lungphuk, and then confined himself to a strict retreat at the solitary place of Clear Light Peak for eighteen months, devoting himself to single-pointed practice. From that time on, he gave empowerments to various groups of disciples, instructions on the mandala, and many transmissions of scriptures such as the Hundred Thousand Tantras. Mainly, he continuously practiced the four sessions of yoga related to Chakrasamvara, and followed the tradition of his uncles without deviation, according to the order arising from the 'Clear Light of Dharma Practice'. Then, in the first month of the Pig year, at the age of thirty-two, he took about four Geshes from Kham, who were unfamiliar to the attendants, as attendants and went to Ewam in Shulde. He said that he extensively studied the 'Precious Oral Instructions', some parts of what he had heard before, and many other profound teachings, and settled some points that needed to be clarified in the form of questions and answers. In the seventh month of the Pig year, the presence of Lodro Gyaltsenpa occurred at Ewam. In the fourth month of the following year, the Rat year, the master Vajradhara passed away to Ogmin. When Dharma Lord Muspa ascended to the throne, he went to Langtang's residence to make a Dharma connection and listen to the initial teachings, and without deviating from the stages of his meditation, he gave many teachings and explanations to the assembly of disciples. Then, at the age of thirty-seven, along with his two brothers and many disciples, he was deeply moved by the biography of the great Bodhisattva Konchok Gyaltsenpa and developed great faith, and went to Mus Dewachen. He practiced in his heart what he had heard before. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
