At that time, he remained as radiant as in his youthful prime, with a good complexion, vigorous, and full of vitality. Moreover, through the power of the perfect wisdom arising from meditation, his previously studied scriptures became so clear that he never forgot them, and those that seemed as if he had not studied them, by relying on the power of the samadhi of the Dharma lineage and the blessing of the Lama, he opened the great ocean of Dharma without any hindrance. Therefore, upon seeing such great qualities, I said: 'Even those proud ones who adorn their throats with hundreds of inner and outer treatises, will take the garland of lotus flowers from your lotus feet with a white crest of faith.' Second, the manner of attaining supreme siddhi: In general, by the sign of possessing such great qualities, there is no doubt that one attains the state of the Great Vajradhara who possesses the four kayas and five wisdoms. As for how he attained it, etc., it is not clearly written here, because for all beings who have become or have not become vessels of great secrecy to see, hear, and based on that, to naturally increase faith, only this much is written. How to Subdue Others Second, the manner of subduing others is divided into: subduing by the common vehicle, and subduing by the uncommon vehicle. The first is: 'The activities of the holy ones occur naturally without effort. Is this fragrance arising from the breeze intentionally arranged?' That is, apart from the Vinaya, which excellently explains the essence of the teachings, the number of those who took ordination and full monastic vows is countless. Although he did not do much teaching and listening that was mainly based on the characteristic vehicle, even so, as mentioned before, in the U-Tsang region, in the midst of more than two thousand intelligent scholars who sincerely sought the truth, he extensively expounded the vast scriptures of the Sugata, so the realization of what was taught arose well in the minds of those intelligent ones, which is inconceivable, because the result follows the cause. The second point is: 'For beings greatly tormented by the heat of afflictions, your activity descends like the breeze from Malaya, scented with Hari Chandana.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When he reached about thirty years of age, he was practicing diligently in the secluded place of Jang Rateng. At that time, two Bstan Ma (guardian goddesses) arrived at Chosding Palgyi Ritro (a monastery, meaning 'Dharma Seat Auspicious Mountain') and said: 'The Khenpo (abbot) of Chosding, Senge Pal (name, meaning 'Lion Auspicious'), will pass away in Lugtang at the end of the Sheep Year. Please come to the hermitage in time and complete the remaining tasks of the past. Our names and life essences are so and so.' They pleaded in this way and promised not to disobey his orders. Then, just as they said, due to previous vows, at the age of thirty-three, he arrived at the seat of the Omniscient One and began to guide those who were to be tamed. It was like this: Just as a bee sees a garden full of lotuses, in order to draw the essence of hearing and thinking, effortlessly relying on past habits, he entered the room of meditation. He said this. After arriving at the seat, he practiced diligently for eighteen years. During that time, heroes, yoginis, and accomplished yogis personally blessed him. The Four Great Kings, the sons and daughters of the Thirty-Three Gods (Buddhist term, one of the six heavens of the desire realm), offered him flowers and incense of the gods on the eighth, fourteenth, and fifteenth days of the waxing moon, which everyone witnessed. At that time, with individual discriminating wisdom, analyzing separately without mixing, all things spoke clearly of their own truth. Through the power of separate collection and meditation, he thoroughly understood the essence of things. All things appeared in various conventional ways, but in the ultimate truth, they had no inherent nature, just as they clearly spoke. Through the wisdom of realizing selflessness, he understood all dharmas as illusory, and unobstructed powers and realizations arose, clearly knowing the good and bad deeds of all beings in this land, the death and rebirth of beings, as well as his own past and future states, and even the future states of his parents, thus creating inconceivable virtuous deeds and making predictions. At that time, all the movements of the sun and moon were drawn into the central channel, and through the yogi who realized this path, one could reach hundreds of thousands of Sambhogakaya (enjoyment body) pure lands. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
