Once, a person was afflicted with black pustules all over his body. Although there was no mental suffering, due to the ripening of karma, he experienced great physical pain and cried out in extreme agony. Then, the white Jetsunma (Tibetan: རྗེ་བཙུན་མ་དཀར་མོ་, meaning 'Venerable White Mother') appeared in the sky and said, 'The body of karmic ripening is the body of the Victorious One.' Relying on these words, many profound Dharmas arose in his mind. Rinpoche's (Tibetan: རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་) teachings also mention that at the age of seventy, he completed his deeds and passed away in the presence of five hundred Arhats (Tibetan: འཕགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་) in a place called 'The Realm of Medicine' (Tibetan: སྨན་གྱི་ལྗོངས་), and was later reborn in China. It is also said that in China (Tibetan: རྒྱ་ནག་པོའི་), on the seashore, there was a city called 'Delightful to See' (Tibetan: ལྟ་ན་སྡུག་), with a population of one hundred thousand households. He was born into a noble family, his father was named Ganga (Tibetan: གངྒཱ་), and his mother was named Rama (Tibetan: ར་མ་). Their son became known as Padma Pal (Tibetan: པད་མའི་དཔལ་, meaning 'Lotus Glory'). His father had a warehouse of one hundred thousand old copper coins but was unwilling to give them away. When Padma Pal (Tibetan: པད་མའི་དཔལ་) was seven years old, he asked his father for permission to go to Mount Wutai (Tibetan: རི་བོ་རྩེ་ལྔ་). The father said, 'Are you going there to die? Don't even think about coming back!' Disappointed, he went to Lion Rock (Tibetan: བྲག་སེང་གེ་རྒྱབ་སྣོལ་) and prayed to Manjushri (Tibetan: འཇམ་དཔལ་). Manjushri (Tibetan: འཇམ་དཔལ་) appeared, Padma Pal (Tibetan: པདྨའི་དཔལ་) was surrounded by eight goddesses, with three faces and six arms, his body white, appearing in the sky, and said, 'The inexpressible is the meaning of the essence, undistracted meditation is the meaning of the seed syllable (Tibetan: འབྲུའི་དོན།), knowing this, there is no need to meditate, in the nature of space, look at space.' As mentioned before, he developed boundless samadhi. When he was acting, in a place called 'Auspicious Ten Thousand Gates of China' (Tibetan: རྒྱའི་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཁྲི་སྒོ་), there was a king named 'Dharma Shri' (Tibetan: དྷརྨ་ཤྲཱི་, meaning 'Glorious Dharma'), who used to believe in Buddhism but later converted to non-Buddhist beliefs and was about to slaughter a thousand buffaloes. To subdue him, Padma Pal (Tibetan: པདྨའི་དཔལ་) manifested as the youth Kartika (Tibetan: ཀརྟི་ཀ) and went there. The king said, 'The Yidam (Tibetan: ཡི་དམ་, meaning 'tutelary deity') has arrived, please take a seat!' and said he would slaughter the buffaloes. Kartika (Tibetan: ཀརྟི་ཀ) said, 'That is not my food.' The king asked, 'Then what is your food?' He replied, 'The three whites, the three sweets, and the taste of salt, sinless fruits are my food.' The king said, 'Eating meat and drinking blood, aren't you a member of the retinue of Mahadeva (Tibetan: མཧཱ་དེ་བ་, meaning 'Great God')?' A fierce fire of wrathful activity arose from Kartika's (Tibetan: ཀརྟི་ཀ) heart, almost burning everything. The king pleaded, 'Please forgive my offense, I will do whatever you ask.' So, he instructed the king to practice the ten virtues and said, 'To subdue each being with the appropriate method, that is what subduing means.' It is also said that in a place called 'Starry Place' (Tibetan: སྐར་མ་ཅན་) in China (Tibetan: རྒྱ་ནག་གི་), there was a monster called 'Copper-Colored Flesh-Eating Demon' (Tibetan: ཕྲ་མེན་ཟངས་ཀྱི་མདོག་ཅན་) that ate one person every night, and he subdued it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then, he transformed into a Rakshasa with a copper head, married her, and made her believe. When he recited the six-syllable mantra, she asked, 'What is this?' He replied, 'This is a mantra for finding food.' She also believed and recited it many times. Therefore, she awakened from the compassion of the Holy One, converted to Buddhism, and attained happiness. He also subdued many kings, such as the king named 'Dark Clothes,' and so on. He passed away peacefully at the age of sixty. Not far from there, he was born in a village called Aratha. To the west of the village of Aratha, there was a dense forest, and in the forest, there was a stupa built by Buddha Krakucchanda. A thousand monkeys lived there, defiling the stupa with impure substances. Considering that these monkeys would fall into lower realms, he took birth as the monkey king. He was handsome, large, wore a jeweled hat on his head, and held a wooden rosary in his hand. He taught the monkeys to prostrate and circumambulate the stupa, and they learned. He taught them the Dharma of cause and effect, and they understood. He said, 'Listen, all you monkeys, the outer appearance and inner awareness are inseparable, this is our view; the inner awareness is without attachment, this is our meditation; without acceptance or rejection, this is our action.' Many monkeys thus realized the truth and attained happiness. The people of the area said, 'A monkey in the forest has brought happiness to all the monkeys.' Many people came to see. A king said to the monkey king, 'Wise ones, why do you live so happily?' The monkey said, 'Noble king, please listen to me. Cause and effect are interdependent, and I am convinced of this. This naturally existing nature of mind is the great bliss of Dharmakaya. If this is a lie, let me, the monkey, die!' The king and his entourage were convinced and exclaimed, 'How amazing!' They paid homage to the monkey king and circumambulated the stupa, then left. After that, the monkey king said to his retinue, 'All of us monkeys, no matter how things appear, do not cling to the objects of the six senses. No matter what thoughts arise, do not let the nature of mind lose its foundation. No matter what five poisons arise, rest in the clear light of the great Dharmakaya.' He repeatedly said, 'How amazing!' His face was filled with tears. All the monkeys thus saw the truth. At that time, rainbows and lights appeared in the sky, the earth shook, and many great signs occurred, and the monkey king himself was amazed.
