是也。彼(指《金刚顶经》)中如是说: (又于彼经中说:) 最初本誓作加持, 以诸瑜伽行者观, 无余究竟所应作, 此说名为瑜伽仪。 如是说。 其中,所谓“dam tshig(དམ་ཚིག)誓言”,乃是“samaya(ས་མ་ཡ།,梵文天城体:समय,梵文罗马拟音:samaya,汉语字面意思:誓言)”之声,意为戒律和律仪(不)。

It is so. It is said in that (referring to the Vajraśekhara Sūtra): (Also in that same [text]): First, the samaya is blessed, Contemplated by those practicing yoga, What should be done completely and without remainder, This is said to be the yoga ritual. Thus it is said. Among these, the so-called "dam tshig (དམ་ཚིག) - vow," is the sound of "samaya (समय,梵文罗马拟音:samaya, meaning: vow)," which means discipline and precepts (not). In general treatises, it is named "reasoning." As it appears in the vocabulary of past translators, in accordance with these, if these words are combined with Tibetan to make them easy to understand, then these words can be said as follows: The blessing of reasoning is the first, The contemplator is the practitioner of yoga, What should be done completely and without remainder, This is said to be the yoga ritual. If the words are organized in this way, the meaning is the same, but it seems slightly easier to understand. The meaning is this: The first reasoning, the suchness of the "self" that is in accordance with asserting the existence of external objects. Among these, the so-called "self" is merely a designation for the meaning of the five aggregates without any distinction by thought. Its suchness, namely these internal and external phenomena included in the aggregates, is the "self" and "what belongs to the self" that are completely conceived by the non-Buddhists, as well as the eternal and annihilationist (views. Compared to these views, the Śrāvakas) completely conceive of emptiness, merely the phenomena of aggregates, elements, and sense bases. Realizing these with true wisdom, it is not permissible to deny them, this is the suchness of the "self." Taking this as the basis for blessing, the Dharma-nature purity belonging to the suchness of the deity, as well as non-conceptual wisdom, as well as the samādhi that is inseparable from the two, as well as letters, body, and mudras, bless and hold. Just as mercury does not seep into gold leaf, being held and blessed by the deity, visualizing as the deity, this is called the yoga of blessing. If one wishes to practice in accordance with that method, then generate oneself as the samayasattva, and arrange mudras or images in the colored powder mandala, and also for images and paintings, etc., first, for the shape difference of the form in which the suchness of the "self" has matured, then letters, mudras, and body.

And also, this act of being blessed by other deities and becoming a deity is one aspect of the deity yoga established by scripture and reasoning. Secondly, according to the manner of the thoroughly imputed yoga that is in accordance with the Mind-Only school, the thusness of myself is also the imputation of the term 'myself,' which is similar to the previous one. (Self, Tibetan: བདག) Its thusness is that these objects of outer (object, Tibetan: ཡུལ) and inner (mind, Tibetan: སེམས) are not only empty of thorough imputation by the non-Buddhists, but also empty of thorough imputation by those who assert that external objects exist, in the way that the objects of grasping and being grasped (outer, Tibetan: ཕྱི) appear to be truly existent. (Inner, Tibetan: ནང་) Mind and mental factors, merely self-awareness, are not objects of grasping for anything, nor are they the agents of grasping for anything. This mere wisdom self-awareness is the thusness of myself. If it is measured as it is, then it is the Thus-Gone One himself. However, in the state of sentient beings, it is merely obscured by non-veridical thorough imputation. When meditating on deity yoga based on this, first, all phenomena are naturally pure. Through the means of these secret mantras, by believing in the purity of the essence, all the imprints of viewing objects of grasping and being grasped are purified. Then, focusing on the mere completely pure wisdom, by the power of the imprints of the accumulation of merit, it is transformed into a moon mandala. Then, on that moon mandala, generate the seed syllable and the heart mark, and the complete body of each deity, and then bless that deity (Kavacha, Tibetan: ཀ་ཝཱ་ཙ) and empower it (with wisdom, Tibetan: ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱིས) and so on. This act of making it completely perfect is the manner of thoroughly imputed yoga. In accordance with this manner, the act of gradually perfecting the body of the deity from the letters on colored powders and images is also the doctrinal manner of this very Guhyagarbha Tantra. Thirdly, the thusness of myself in the manner of the perfect yoga that is in accordance with the Madhyamaka school is that the Yogacharas assert that the completely pure wisdom (merely self-awareness, Tibetan: རང་རིག་པ་ཙམ་འདི) is truly existent.
