Offer to them. Because it is said so. Secondly, it is also acceptable to offer together, as it is said: Or in the mandala of hand gestures, arrange the patterns and make offerings. Because it is said so. With these, the method of blessing oneself, and the fact that there is no difference in offering to mandalas, statues, and drawings are established. Now, among them, at the time of offering to the deity being worshiped, I will show how to bless oneself in accordance with (the mandala of meditation), that is, first, having thoroughly contemplated the characteristics of the deity being invited, invite and seat them. First, offer water for washing the feet. After that, offer scented water. After that, offer divine food. After that, offer flower garlands. At that time, bless that deity as oneself. That is, praise the five-limbed secret mantra with flowers, and the blessing of placing it in the deity's abode with the mind will be accomplished. Then offer incense. Light lamps in eight directions (so as not to turn back). Then offer a torma of beings to the wrathful deity. Then, having taken it outside and given the remaining offerings, after that, any of the four mandala activities, such as initiating disciples, should be combined. It should be known as such. That is also said like this: (In that tantra itself) Having contemplated in accordance with the ritual, at the time of entering, the wrathful Yamantaka, with the mantra recitation (ཨོཾ་ཡ་མཱནྟ་ཀ་ཧཱུཾ༴༴,ōng yāntāka hūṃ,Om, Yamantaka, Hum) invite, and seat them with one's own essence. (The form of the body is) The wrathful one, agitated, frightening, the majestic, supreme, contemplative one, having shown the form and characteristics of the wrathful one, having contemplated in that way, well, invite with the essence and offer water for washing the feet. Having offered water for washing the feet in accordance with the ritual, also on the crown of the tutelary deity, (hand seal) place a red flower. Then offer red sandalwood, the intelligent one to the wrathful one. After the fragrance, offer divine food, offering with sandalwood. Also the garland of flowers, should be offered with the mantra of flowers. Having offered flowers in accordance with the ritual, in that way, also with the mantra of the essence, at the heart of the main wrathful deity, and on the crown of the wrathful one.

I shall arrange the offerings properly. Place the crest upon the crest, and the crown upon its head. Clothe the body with armor, and place weapons where weapons are placed. Place flowers with the mind, and act as it is said. After offering in this way, burn incense, consecrate it with mantras, and offer it. Then, arrange the blazing flames in the eight directions in order. Offer the torma for the spirits to the wrathful deities, and then, outside of most pretas, the wise should give the black torma. Thus it is said. This order of offering, except for the certainty of offering cleansing water first, there is no particular certainty of other orders. In short, here it is only shown as it is said. Likewise, this order of blessing, the difference between powdered colors and images is the difference of whether or not to invite the deity to descend, and in the occasions of dissolving the mudras in the yoga tantras, the meaning shown in "dissolve the mudras in their own place," and for images, stupas, and scriptures, etc., as objects of focus, for the sake of making them stable for a long time, in the cases of blessing them. At the time of the consecration ritual, the deity is not invited to descend again, and the mudras are not dissolved, if these well-known statements are combined, then for the tantras of images and paintings (not just a part), because it is the completely perfect deity itself, there is no need to dissolve the mudras at all. For stupas and scriptures, at the time of invitation and blessing (at that time), even if a part is blessed as the completely perfect deity, at the time of dissolving the mudras, the completely perfect great mudra is gathered into the samaya mudra, and then it is reasonable to leave it without dissolving, so that it remains stable. Some teachers say, "If the mudra of the deity blessed in front of me is not dissolved, then the mudra blessed by oneself cannot be dissolved either, because the mantra practitioner will be bound." I have heard such a statement before, but such a statement is not seen in the scriptures either. (If that were the case, the mantra practitioner himself is there, appearing as the mandala of the deity through samadhi, then it is not at all times, that mudra itself contradicts the deity and the two humans, and the appearance of the deity at all times.) Logically also
