Then, that painter was invited, and after he had drawn the image, he was offered food and gifts, and after he was satisfied, he was sent back. So it is said. The visualization of true blessing is: Thus it is said, by the true blessing of the Three Jewels, may this body image, accomplish the arising of true blessing. If it can become my accomplishment, may some signs appear. Having said this, one engages in the ritual of opening the eyes. If I am one who possesses fortune, then the signs that have been spoken of, will resound in my ears, and appear before my eyes. So it is said. To bless with mantras and mudras is to bless as that very deity with the mantras and mudras of each respective deity, and to bless the limbs such as body, speech, and mind, and to give empowerment. This, when gathering the general teachings of Kriya, Yoga, and Mahayoga, at the time of blessing the limbs, this blessing of body, speech, and mind, appears to be common. Furthermore, this blessing of the four limbs, the crown of the head, the eyes, the tongue, and the armor, also appears to be common. The difference is that, according to the Kriya Tantra, it is mainly taught to bless the five limbs in the manner of syllables, such as the essence, the pinnacle, the crown of the head, the armor, and the weapons. In some tantras, there is also the blessing of more places than that, and it is mainly taught to bless as the deity by means of syllables. In the common tantras of Yoga and Mahayoga, it is taught to bless in the manner of the four activities, by means of the mantras and mudras of the four mind-mothers. The word Tiṣṭha (藏文,梵文天城體,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) also means to be firm and unchanging. The meaning of mudra is also to bless firmly, therefore the mudras of the four mind-mothers are what support the manner of the four miraculous activities. In the Elimination of the Lower Realms, it is also said that the deities are firmly blessed by means of the four wheels of the four families, as it is said: Then, the Bhagavan Vajrapani, makes all the mantras, vidyas, essences, and mudras firm.

Therefore, this essence of yours is explained." Thus it was said. Here, in general, the essence of blessing the body, speech, and mind, which is common to all tantras, is: placing Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) on the crown of the head, Ā (藏文:ཨཱཾ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:ā,汉语字面意思:阿) on the tongue, and Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) in the heart. Furthermore, the generation as the body of a deity is also explained in some tantras. Here, in the Guhyagarbha Tantra, renowned as the outermost of all the great yoga tantras, the mudra for blessing the body, speech, and mind is taught, saying: "Merely by binding, one is completely liberated from all sins. Here, the body is blessed, and if one meditates on oneself as one's own form, one will even attain Buddhahood. What need is there to mention other siddhis?" Clenching both hands into fists and raising both thumbs is the mudra for blessing the body of the Tathagata. From those two, retracting the left thumb inward and raising the right thumb is the mudra for blessing the speech of Lokeśvara. From that, retracting the right thumb inward and raising the left thumb is the mudra for blessing the mind of Vajradhara. The secret mantras are: Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) Ā (藏文:ཨཱཾ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:ā,汉语字面意思:阿) Vairocana. Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) Hrīḥ (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:舍) Amitābha. Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) Akṣobhya. These are the essence of the syllables of the secret mantras. Alternatively, if one performs it with the seed syllable mantras: Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) is of Vairocana. Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཾ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:ā,汉语字面意思:阿) is of Lokeśvara. Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) is of Vajradhara. Especially for Vajradhara, it is said to meditate on the form of the moon. Blessing in the manner of the four miracles is: In that itself, it says: "For blessing, vows, and empowerment, Vajrasattva, Ratna, Dharma, and Karma, always combine with union." Thus it is said. From the vajra clasp, raising the two middle fingers and pointing them towards the heart of the deity, reciting Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) Sattva (藏文:ས་ཏྭ,梵文天城体:सत्त्व,梵文罗马拟音:sattva,汉语字面意思:萨埵) Vajrī (藏文:བཛྲཱི,梵文天城体:वज्री,梵文罗马拟音:vajrī,汉语字面意思:班杂) Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), one firmly blesses the vajra of the bodhisattva. In that itself, without breaking the central joints, making it like a jewel and pointing it towards the foreheads of the deities, reciting Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) Ratna (藏文:རཏྣ,梵文天城体:रत्न,梵文罗马拟音:ratna,汉语字面意思:热那) Vajrī (藏文:བཛྲཱི,梵文天城体:वज्री,梵文罗马拟音:vajrī,汉语字面意思:班杂) Trāṃ (藏文:ཏྲཱཾ,梵文天城体:त्राम्,梵文罗马拟音:trāṃ,汉语字面意思:创), one should contemplate it as a blazing jewel diadem, empowered as the king of dharma of the three realms. In that itself, making it into the shape of a lotus,
