Everything appears, just like the water obtained after offering and the pus that appears to ordinary people. This great river filled with pus is also a manifestation of the mind. The manifestations are not different either, because the moist manifestations are the same, so it is just like appearing as pus. If it is argued in this way, then this reasoning is established for those who want the mind to appear. In this way, first argue for similarity, and then refute the nature of pus, like this, both of these appearances are equally appearances of the mind, but pus is an impure appearance, so it is mistaken, and water is a pure appearance, so it is not mistaken. Like this, whatever is mistaken is impure, and whatever is impure is mistaken, this is the same pervasion. Similarly, purity and non-mistakenness should also be observed, therefore, by this very reason of certain pervasion, pus is a mistaken appearance, it is a mistaken appearance, water is not mistaken, it is a non-mistaken appearance. Similarly, from the perspective that all phenomena appear as mere illusions, just as ordinary people see it, the appearance of the body and the object of behavior, which are encompassed by body, speech, and mind, is not only the nature of suffering, the nature of the place where afflictions arise, but also, as seen by pure beings, the nature of enlightenment, which is encompassed by the Vajra of body, speech, and mind, and is the nature of pure land and pure object of behavior, because it is a manifestation of the mind. Just as it appears as deities to those who have attained supreme accomplishment, and as vases and pillars, etc. to ordinary people. Like this, also, whatever is a manifestation of the mind, everything appears as all natures, just as some appear as deities and some appear as pillars, etc. The body, place, and objects of enjoyment that appear to ordinary people are also manifestations of the mind. The manifestations are not different either, because the appearance of the body, place, and objects of enjoyment encompassed by body, speech, and mind are the same. Just like appearing as pillars, etc. If it is argued in this way, then this reasoning is established for those who want the mind to appear. In this way, first establish similarity, and then the suffering of
