These are just brief representations of the main deities known from the Kriya and Yoga Tantras. Not only these, but also from the deities known from the Sutras and Secret Mantras, if you wish to practice any one of them as your chosen deity, and only the heart mantra is mentioned, then write only the heart mantra and place it in the stupa. If you wish to practice a deity in the manner of the Sutras, then there is no need to meditate on such distractions of samadhi. Instead, generate the mind of enlightenment with a fully ripened body, and aroused by the power of great compassion, think: "For the benefit of sentient beings, I will establish the unwavering body of the Tathagata in the world." Thinking in this way, write and place any heart mantra from which the blessings of all the Tathagatas arise, and the heart mantra of the nature of dependent origination, and recite and insert them. Also, offer whatever offerings of flowers and incense, etc., are available, and make aspirations in the same way. These are the methods of practice for the sake of enlightenment.
