其中“法”这个词的词义是:梵语“Dharma(梵文天城体:धर्म,梵文罗马拟音:Dharma,汉语字面意思:法)”有执持的意思,也就是,这是执持,或者这是应该执持的,是能作和所作的关系。

The path and the fruit are not shown, and it is just a futile thought. Among them, "all dharmas" means that what is indicated here is the object of observation, that is, all knowable things. Among them, the definition of the word "dharma" is: the Sanskrit word "Dharma(梵文天城体:धर्म,梵文罗马拟音:Dharma,English literal meaning: Dharma)" has the meaning of holding, that is, this is holding, or this should be held, which is the relationship between the agent and the object. Therefore, when all knowable things are called dharma, because it can hold its own characteristics, it is dharma, and both the agent and the object can be used. When the path, ultimate truth, and merit are called dharma, because it holds from falling, it is dharma, and should be attributed to the agent. When scriptures, truth and certainty, and realm dharmas are called dharma, because it holds reason, it is dharma, and should be attributed to the agent. When a realm or cause is called dharma, because it holds the fruit, it is dharma, and should be attributed to the agent. When life is called dharma, because it holds the body, it is dharma, and should be attributed to the agent. When the object of consciousness is called dharma, because it includes most dharmas, as well as conditioned and unconditioned dharmas, it is applying a general name to a part. When strength and fearlessness, etc., are called the dharma of fruit, it is because it arises from dharma, and holds from falling, and it is the meaning of realm, because the substance is vast, it is called dharma. When dharma is established as dharma, this is holding, so it is dharma, and should be attributed to the object. Such a definition of dharma should be explained in all situations. Mentioning cause and effect is because these worldly views are mainly views that correspond to ignorance of the law of karma, therefore, it is necessary to establish these object dharmas as things of cause and effect, so these are indicated. Worldly secret words refer to secret mantras that have not become the door to liberation, which are spoken by worldly people, accomplishing worldly affairs, and so on. The so-called "all dharmas born in one lifetime are also considered to be suddenly born and have an end" refers to: in the sects of Brihaspati and others, it is said: live happily while alive, after death there is no place to enjoy, the body also disappears like ashes, where can there be rebirth? These treatises confirm this, such as the cause of many piles of firewood

When fire arises, it burns as long as the firewood is not exhausted. When the firewood is exhausted and the fire dies out, just as the continuation of firewood and fire does not produce anything else, the great elements of the body suddenly arise like firewood, and when they are interrupted, there is no rebirth in samsara. This is their view. The so-called view that there is a permanent self that is universally sought in all things refers to the fact that for things that appear as cause and effect, through factors such as clairvoyance and scriptures, one universally seeks and believes that there is a permanent self even though it does not exist in things. This can be summarized into three views: having an effect without a cause, reversing cause and effect, and having a cause without an effect. This is what is explained. That is, viewing nature as the cause, viewing Ishvara as the cause, and viewing the agent as the cause. This is what the Buddhists have named. In their respective tenets, some tenets hold that: the trunk is the cause of the tree, the branches are the basis of all branches, clear water and water are also the same, no one creates it, it arises naturally. and so on to argue. The so-called nature refers to something that does not depend on cause and conditions, is not marked by form and mind, does not distinguish between forms and differences, and is a constant and unchanging thing. But it is not like thinking that nature as a cause produces other effects, but rather saying that the moving and non-moving things themselves are nature. The impermanent phenomena such as cause and effect, increase and decrease, which now appear as objects of experience, are the state of nature. Nature and state are also not considered different. For example, even if gold is obscured or transformed by mercury, its nature does not change. This is also called clinging to the only self, and it is also called clinging to the whole. Because it is believed that the manifested things exist from the beginning and there is no other cause that produces them, it is also called having an effect without a cause. If it does not depend on the cause, then how is the effect established? Existence itself is called the effect or accomplishment, just as space exists from the beginning.
