Relying on the blessings of the three vajras, gathering and controlling the life force of the arrogant. In the utterly unelaborated state, ultimately existing within the empowerment of the great union of wisdom. Firstly, in an elaborated manner, relying on the single stream of blessing, bestowing the four empowerments, and for the sake of urging the samaya through supplication, repeat this supplication: Hūṃ! From the supreme abode of Oḍḍiyāna's palace, Dharmakāya, Sambhogakāya, Nirmāṇakāya, the Vajradhara inseparable from the three kāyas, please grant me empowerment, bless me! Oṃ! Please bless my body, please purify the obscurations of the body, please increase the splendor of the body, please bestow the unchanging body's accomplishment of longevity! Āḥ! Please bless my speech, please purify the obscurations of speech, please increase the power of speech, please bestow the accomplishment of the oral transmission of the essence of speech! Hūṃ! Please bless my mind, please purify the obscurations of the mind, please increase the realization of the mind, please bestow the accomplishment of the unborn vajra of the mind! Bestow the empowerment of the five wisdoms, bestow the supreme and common accomplishments, command the eight classes of gods and demons to keep their vows, please avert the obstacles of the bhūtas, please pacify the obstructing forces and wrong views! Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hūṃ! Recite three times. Having thus supplicated and urged the mindstream, in order to clearly establish the object of receiving empowerment, visualize as follows: On the crown of the head, is a variegated lotus, eight petals, in the center of the sun and moon disc, Mahāguru, body color blue, peaceful and smiling, with a graceful demeanor, hair in a matted topknot, with two hands holding a vajra and bell, embracing the supreme Buddha Ḍākinī, white, holding a curved knife and skull cup, adorned with precious bone ornaments, wearing divine silk garments, in a majestic posture, right leg extended, seated in a playful manner. The consort's hair is unbound, adorned with bone ornaments, entwined in a lotus posture. The splendor of the marks and signs blazes, radiating five-colored light. Through your devotion and faith, you have urged the mindstream, thereby receiving the four blessings of empowerment.

Through the blessings of the Guru's mind, may realization arise in my mind, may I receive the supreme wisdom-jnana empowerment, may I attain the siddhi of the unborn vajra of mind. Recite the mantra, play music, and touch the vase to the heart. Visualize the fourth empowerment as follows: The emanation wheel of bodhicitta, etc., pervading and filling up to the soles of the feet, purifying the sins and obscurations of body, speech, and mind. Through the blessings of body, speech, and mind, may power blaze in body, speech, and mind. Having received the fourth empowerment, body, speech, and mind, may I attain the siddhi of the indivisible vajra. Recite the mantra, play music, and place the vase on the navel, and give the vase water. Experience the sensations of bliss, clarity, and emptiness. At that time, the Guru father and mother, dissolve into nectar and fill one's own body. Loosen the knots of one's own mind, and rest in the unfabricated, natural state. The stream of bodhicitta water, flows upwards, the lord of the lineage, by the present root Guru, on the crown of the head, is strengthened. Sprinkle the vase water. At that time, Guru Padmasambhava himself, by the power of the commitment of mind, blesses the Guru.
