For the sake of the third root empowerment, visualize as follows: You are the essence of all Sugatas of the three times, and all Vidyadharas, the embodiment of all body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities, Guru Padma Thötreng Tsal, red-black, with one face and two hands, three eyes, red and round, with wrathful frown, mouth open, bared fangs, uttering the sound of Hūṃ, hair, beard, and eyebrows, red-yellow, blazing upwards like fire, limbs and branches coarse and fierce, belly swollen like an ocean, adorned with a crown of five dry skulls, and a necklace of fifty fresh heads, well-adorned with the eight great Nagas, sealed with six mudras, wearing a field skin and a bull skin as garments, wearing a tiger skin as a lower garment, decorated with heaps of blood, fat, and ashes, right hand holding aloft an iron vajra, reducing gods and demons, the eight classes, to ashes, left hand twirling a Mount Meru phurba, planting it in all the roots of the teachings, from every pore of the hair, countless small wrathful ones emanate and gather, in the midst of a gathering of a million mamos, manifestly majestic with the gestures of nine dances, right leg bent, left leg extended, trampling on a pair of corpses with the great stance of a giant, in his heart is the wisdom mind, Mahaguru smiling and peaceful, with a complexion of white and red.
