There are five methods for cultivating the protective wheel in order to dispel obstacles and prevent them from entering in the future. The first is: With the radiance emanating from oneself as the wrathful Vajra, below is the Vajra ground, in the middle is the Vajra fence, above is the Vajra tent and canopy. Outside the tent enclosure is a tent chamber filled with a Vajra net, like the strong iron wall of a royal palace, indivisible and indestructible. The second is: Outside of that, wheels, Vajras, jewels, lotuses, and swords, i.e., the five hand symbols that gather the families, each blazing and stable, countless circular tent homes with five layers inside and out, filling all directions above and below. The third is: The fire that arises from these, with the colors of the five wisdoms, blazing like the fire of the end of an eon, cutting off access like a bee to a blacksmith's molten fire, so that one cannot even approach it, this is how to visualize it. The fourth is: Knowing that one's own and others' three doors (body, speech, and mind) are primordially the wisdom of the innate deity and mantra, this is the great protective wheel of spontaneous perfection. As it says in the "Gathering of Bliss": "All are body and wisdom, there is no perception of obstacles, there is no one to protect and no protector." The fifth is: As it says in the "Secret Commentary": "The king of boundaries, with non-conceptual wisdom, suppresses the king of obstacles, conceptual thought." As all are grasped by the view of Suchness itself, the object to be cut off, the cutter, and the three interruptions are all naturally unobservable. If one knows the great expanse of primordial purity and equality, then emptiness itself cannot find a flaw in emptiness, so this is the best of all protections. The great teacher (Padmasambhava) said: "When the defilement of conceptual mind and intellect is cleansed, there is not even the name 'obstacle'." The necessity of these is also as it says in the "Garland of Essential Points": "Although the essence is without self and other, for the yogi with initial karma, in order to prevent interruptions to meditative practice, it is necessary to establish boundaries." So it is. Secondly, there are also two aspects to accomplishing favorable conditions: bestowing blessings, and blessing offerings. The first is: "From wisdom, dispel conceptualization." As it is said, after dispelling the adverse conditions of yoga, the main favorable condition, the outer vessel and inner contents, are blessed into a wheel of wisdom. What is to be bestowed is the glory of the five qualities of the wisdom deity.

Great blessing. The place of descent, for the landowner, the practitioner, and the residence, the means of practice, etc., the manner of descent, with faith, longing, intense prayer, mantra, and the special samadhi, burning mixed incense and corpse incense, and urging with the sounds of cymbals, bells, etc., like the opening of a sesame pod, all the deities awakened throughout the sky, especially absorbed and descended upon oneself, the residence, and the means, causing all impure dualistic appearances and conceptualizations of characteristics to arise as the great play of pure, vast wisdom. As it is said in the Garland of Essential Instructions: "With the mudra of mantra recitation and light gathering, descend the blessings of the five fruits." So it is. Second, it is said, "Increase as desired from within and without." After the blessing has descended, as it is said in the Essential Instructions: "Place your mind on the inconceivable Dharma, and with the power of the generosity of the wise, bless everything properly." As such, at the beginning of blessing the offerings, the self-power of wisdom manifests as fire, wind, and water, burning, throwing, and washing away all the faults of impure dualistic grasping, purifying them. Transforming the objects to which one clings as ordinary into the emptiness free from elaboration. Outer offering, the five desirable qualities of heavenly flowers, etc., the five self-arisen samaya substances such as the five empowerments of puspe (藏文:པུཥྤེ་,梵文天城体:पुष्पे,梵文罗马拟音:puṣpe,汉语字面意思:花), the five desirable qualities such as the vajra form, without lacking the aspect of that and that desire from the beginning of each name, in the offering of each particle, also visualize goddesses transformed from each offering object scattering like dust, filling the expanse of the sky with vast offering clouds. Inner offering, the three substances of medicine, torma, and rakta, each mixed with fire, wind, seeds, etc., purifying the conceptualizations of grasping at names and self-nature. Visualize as the nectar of non-duality of samaya and wisdom, and the accumulation of uncontaminated desirable qualities, and the ocean of unattached great red. Increasing greatly, spreading the offering clouds throughout the sky. Secret offering, liberating dualistic wrong conceptualizations into the non-dual dharmadhatu. Combining the three of object, power, and consciousness into the union of skillful means and wisdom. The supreme samadhi offering, the essence of the pure realm of the vessel, the deity and the consort, all appearances and experiences without exception are the mudra of offering. All the implements of offering, also gather into the play of the great wisdom of mind itself, which is the offering of the play of wisdom. ཐ
