Who are the guests? Please explain, great master. The master said: Because there is no attachment, it is called 'Tor' (藏文, Devanagari, Roman transliteration, Chinese literal meaning); because it pervades everything, it is called 'Ma' (藏文, Devanagari, Roman transliteration, Chinese literal meaning); because there is no self-nature, it is called 'Tor' (藏文, Devanagari, Roman transliteration, Chinese literal meaning); because it is universally equal, it is called 'Ma' (藏文, Devanagari, Roman transliteration, Chinese literal meaning). How to meditate on the Torma? In the relative truth, visualize the Torma vessel as an immeasurable palace of wisdom; the inner Torma is the nourishment of the five poisons, the nature of the five wisdoms, and the five desirable qualities. Just as crops are born and grow from the earth, it is as if clouds gather in the sky, and rain falls from the sky. In the ultimate truth, the Torma vessel is the meaning of the unborn Dharmadhatu; the Torma is the magical display of awareness and wisdom. Meditate that the light of the indivisible Dharmadhatu and wisdom benefits the six realms of beings. The practice of Torma is as described above, it should not be practiced, without defilement and impurity, without leakage, seepage, and contamination. The samaya of Torma is not to be defiled by dirt and impurity. Water should not be poured in, if water is not poured in, it cannot be increased. The result of offering Torma is: reaching the state of liberation and Nirvana, being free from disease in this world, increasing wealth and livestock, and having a long life. If the Torma is not blessed, there will be punishment from the noble ones, and it will be of no benefit. If the Torma is not offered, the yogi will not accomplish anything. If the dedication is not pure, the guests will not receive it. If the dedication of the Torma is reversed, the mantra practitioner will become a person with karmic obscurations. If the Torma is not complete, one will be reborn as a hungry ghost of a dry mountain. If the causes and conditions of the Torma are not complete, the guests of the Torma will not gather; if the guests do not gather, the result of the offering will cease to exist. If the samaya substances of the Torma are not complete, the invited guests will not come, and if it is not blessed, they will not be pleased. If the samaya substances are not recognized, the mantra practitioner will receive punishment from the gods. If the essence of the Torma is diminished, the yogi will encounter obstacles. If the ritual of the Torma does not conform to the scriptures, it will become a karmic obscuration. If the mantra and mudra of the Torma are wrong, one will be reborn in a family of broken lineage. The method of offering Torma is: to the guest of service, offer as if paying tribute to a king; to the guest of merit, offer equally as a friend.

Give as if hosting a guest; give to the guest of compassion as if holding a feast of virtue; give to the guest of karmic debt as if pleading for debt repayment; the guests of the torma are: the guests of service, give to the true form of the Lama, the Three Jewels, and the Yidam; the guests of merit, outwardly the protectors of pure lineage, inwardly the Dakinis, oath-bound Dharma protectors, guardians, the eight classes of gods and demons; the guests of compassion, give to the sentient beings of the three times and six realms; the guests of karmic debt, give to the eighty thousand classes of obstacles. It is said to dedicate and give to these. Jo-mo asked: What is the torma of completely abandoning grasping? What is the torma of unchanging wisdom adornment? What is the torma that abides in the realm of great bliss? What is the torma sealed by unchanging vastness? What is the torma of pure Dharma nature? What is the torma that pervades all? What is the torma of single-pointed focus? Please explain from the great teacher! Thus she asked. The teacher said: The torma of completely abandoning grasping is: clearly entering into samadhi, offering to the Sugatas of the three times, giving to the sentient beings of the three realms, and giving with inconceivable focus through samadhi. The torma of unchanging wisdom adornment is: visualizing all phenomena and sentient beings as the nature of torma, visualizing them as torma itself, offering to the Sugatas of the three times, cutting off the three poisons from the root, sweeping away the bad destinies with a broom, and not changing from the state of great bliss of Dharma nature. The torma that abides in the realm of great bliss is: as before, without clinging, all phenomena are the nature of great bliss, or spontaneously accomplished, naturally without gathering or scattering, spontaneously accomplished without effort, Buddha and sentient beings are non-dual, and there is nothing that is not spontaneously accomplished. The torma sealed by unchanging vastness is: in the moment without grasping and conceptualization, if realized, the Bodhicitta will not change and is sealed. The torma of pure Dharma nature is: the Dharma nature of torma, the nature of Bodhicitta, unborn and unceasing, pervading all, is called pervasive. The torma that pervades all is: pervading all, and is called not abandoning. Where the outer container world is filled and pervaded, the inner content is sentient beings.
