etc., with the addition of practice, there are many merits. As mentioned earlier, the root verses and oral instructions of the Secret Master Heart Essence are summarized into a method of practice, which is to focus on the support in front and practice the method of calming and insight. This is the same in meaning as the Brahma Vehicle mentioned in the Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra. The word Brahma has the meaning of purity, cleanliness, and whiteness. Because it is pure from the defilements of the desire realm, or because it is clean and complete. In a broad sense, it refers to the seventeen places of the form realm and the four places of the formless realm in the upper realm of the gods, a total of twenty-one places, all of which are called by the name of Brahma. The path to reach there and everything related to it is called the Brahma Vehicle. That is, by practicing calming and insight, observing the roughness of the lower realm, and observing the tranquility of one's own realm, one abandons the defilements of the lower realm and is born in the upper realm. Dhyana and the formless are the reality of the Brahma Vehicle, and the four immeasurables and the five mundane superknowledges are the special merits of the Brahma Vehicle. Third, to increase by means of assisting practice is to practice the ten virtuous paths of action that include outflows and everything related to them. As it is said: "If you abandon the ten non-virtues, there is no separate practice of the ten virtues." In addition, there are actions of the body, such as circumambulation, etc.; actions of speech, such as praise, etc.; and actions of mind, such as the mind of benefiting others, etc. Fourth, the respective results are that, according to the strength of virtuous actions, one is reborn as humans in the four continents and the six desire gods, that is, the ten virtuous places of the desire realm. By the way, in the case of the human and divine vehicle, if one is a householder, one should take the upavāsa vows as in the Anavasthita Sūtra; if one is an ordained śrāmaṇera, one should take the Mahāyāna posadha as in the Donzhag Sūtra. According to the Sarvāstivāda school, the place to take the upavāsa vows should be from a bhikṣu, and the place or basis of rebirth needs men and women from Jambudvipa, and they are not born to eunuchs, hermaphrodites, and those with unpleasant voices. According to the Sautrāntika school: "The Sautrāntikas say that sentient beings, etc., can also be born in other realms. The place of taking vows, lay practitioners, etc., can take them from anyone." As it is said. To take the Mahāyāna posadha, one must take it from someone who has a lineage of vows, otherwise, obtaining the Prātimokṣa vows cannot be a reason.

Therefore, it must be understood that, like the Upavāsa, it cannot be transferred to others. First, after obtaining that lineage of vows, one must take it oneself, and transferring it to others is similar to the Bodhisattva vows. Jamyang Sakya Pandita said: "In the Tantra of the Amoghapāśa, it is said: 'Taking the Upavāsa oneself, the ritual is like generating Bodhicitta.'" The Suhrllekha says: "The pleasure of fasting and the desirable body of a god, men and women can all perform this." This explains that even for the excellent state of a god, one must necessarily have the discipline arising from proper acceptance. Therefore, there is no other cause for higher rebirth than discipline. In general, it is accomplished by the ten virtuous actions and their related activities, which are sustained by the correct view mentioned above. These are as stated in the Lamrim of the teacher Buddha Guhya: "First establish the foundation vehicle." Therefore, it is called the worldly vehicle, or the vehicle of humans and gods, because it is the foundation and precursor of all vehicles. A vehicle that is not sustained by the correct view and does not practice the ten virtuous actions does not exist in inner Buddhism. The Hevajra Tantra also says: "Starting from the ten virtues, then thoroughly distinguish its Dharma." That is, one must climb the ladder of higher rebirth to enter the palace of definite goodness and liberation. The Ratnāvalī says: "If one practices human Dharma well, the path to the realm of gods is not far. If one climbs the ladder of humans and gods, liberation is near at hand." Secondly, the Lesser Vehicle is divided into two: Śrāvakayāna and Pratyekabuddhayāna. The view of the Śrāvakas is: to view the self of phenomena as ultimately true, and to engage in acceptance and rejection based on the cause and effect of the Four Noble Truths of Saṃsāra and Nirvāṇa. The Lamrim of Buddha Guhya says: "Those who have not realized the absence of two, view everything as real in the Four Noble Truths. Those who engage in acceptance and rejection, this is the ground of the Śrāvakas." Among them, there are two: Vaibhāṣika and Sautrāntika. The view of Skaba Pel Tseg's Lamrim says: "The Śrāvakas who only view phenomena, are two: Sautrāntika and Vaibhāṣika. They argue about external dust, and agree on the momentary appearance of consciousness." Therefore, the Vaibhāṣikas believe that the gross conventional truth, although appearing as a whole like a dense forest, in ultimate
