From the arising of the experience of bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality, worldly samadhi is accomplished. Samaya. In the practice mentioned above, according to the Sutra Collection (འདུས་མདོ།) and the Agamas (བཀའ་མ།) in the Vehicle of Gods and Humans, the deity who purifies the lower realms is Kunrig (藏文:ཀུན་རིག, सर्वविद्,sarvavid,All-Knowing) and Vairochana (藏文:རྣམ་པར་སྣང་མཛད།). The deity who purifies karmic obscurations is Akshobhya (藏文:མི་འཁྲུགས་པ།), and the three deities of auspicious times are the Eighth Day Medicine Buddha (藏文:སྨན་བླ།) who pacifies the eon of disease, Amitabha (藏文:སྣང་བ་མཐའ་ཡས།) who pacifies the eon of weapons, and the Thousand Buddhas Shakyamuni (藏文:ཤཱཀྱ་ཐུབ་པ།) who pacifies the eon of famine. Although these five are meditated upon, here, visualize Manjushri as the protector Avalokiteshvara, with a reddish-yellow body, blazing like the rays of the sun, with two hands holding the Dharma wheel mudra, possessing the form of a supreme nirmanakaya free from attachment. Visualize Garwang Chenrezig as Buddha Rays Exalted in All Directions, the Glorious Supreme King, golden in color, making the supreme giving mudra and the samadhi mudra, possessing the attire of a nirmanakaya. Visualize the secret lord Vajrapani as Vajradhara in general, and around him, visualize all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, heroes, dakinis, Dharma protectors, and guardians like an open sesame pod. If you wish to meditate on the above-mentioned five deities, then visualize Vairochana and Akshobhya in front, Shakyamuni on the south, i.e., the right, Amitabha on the west, i.e., the back, and Medicine Buddha on the north, i.e., the left, which becomes a complete limb. To practice this, it is shown with six meanings: to whom to take refuge, by whom to take refuge, how is the method or means, the main part with its divisions, the faults or demerits of not having taken refuge, and the benefits of having taken refuge. First, the object of refuge is the Three Jewels. Second, who takes refuge? One who possesses faith, respect, and devotion, remembering the qualities of those objects of refuge, desiring to attain unsurpassed enlightenment, and taking refuge out of fear and dread of the suffering of the lower realms. Third, how to take refuge? A person with the three recognitions must take refuge through the gate of possessing the four dharmas: possessing faith, being cautious of karma and its ripening, and trusting in the law of karma and its results, always relying on the guru and respecting the guru, and not doubting the dharma taught by him. Fourth, if considered in terms of the main part or division, there are three meanings: what is to be abandoned, and

I am the actual conduct and ritual. First, regarding what should be abandoned, as stated in the Nirvana Sutra: Whoever goes for refuge to the Buddha is a true lay practitioner, and should never go for refuge to other gods. If seeking refuge in the sacred Dharma, one should be free from the mind of harming and killing. If one has also gone for refuge to the Sangha, one should not pay homage to other non-Buddhists. This is (the content of the scripture). Second, regarding what should be practiced, there are two types: common practices and special practices. The first is: at all times, whatever one does, one should only remember the qualities of the Three Jewels. The second is the special practice, which is to generate respect for each of the Jewels, build supports for body, speech, and mind (Buddha images, scriptures, stupas), make offerings, and serve, respect, have faith and reverence for the Sangha. Third, regarding the actual ritual of taking refuge, there are four types: outer, inner, secret, and ultimate reality refuge. The first is the outer refuge, as stated in the Sutra of the Stacked Chamber: There is no teacher like the Buddha, no protector like the Dharma, no field of merit like the Sangha, therefore one should revere the three. This is (the content of the scripture). The second is the inner refuge, which is the three: Lama, Yidam, and Dakini, and these three are also included in the Lama alone, as stated in the Guhyasamaja Tantra: One should not view the Lama and Vajradhara as different. This is (the content of the scripture). The third is the secret refuge, which is also considered refuge in abiding in the state of the four: view, meditation, conduct, and result. The view is the inseparability of the Dharmadhatu and wisdom, the meditation is the stability of samadhi, the conduct is the accomplishment of self and other's benefit, and the result is the spontaneous accomplishment of the five kayas. Practicing in this state without leaving, without distraction, and without change. The fourth is the main practice, including the divisions: the basis is abiding in reality, the path is abiding in one's own nature, the conduct is the arising of one's own nature, and the fruit is the liberation of one's own nature. Practicing without departing from these. Fifth, the faults of not taking refuge are: if one does not possess these, one cannot enter the ranks of Buddhists, one will not receive the blessings of the Three Roots, and the vows of discipline and samaya will lose their basis. Sixth, the benefits of taking refuge are: the merit of becoming the basis of all vows, entering the community of Buddhists, not being shaken by any fear, not going astray, not being reborn in the three lower realms, all wishes being fulfilled as desired, the blessin
