Above, the pure sensations of fragrance, touch, sound, and taste are represented, with fragrant incense and the like representing the four great goddesses of clear awareness, bliss, and emptiness. The four gates symbolize the four illusory wheels of birth, old age, sickness, and death. The seat is on clouds and a great rainbow, above a mirage-like mist, with four gatekeepers who have vanquished the four maras of attachment and delusion, such as unborn, clear space. In short, visualize the unchanging principal deity of mind, surrounded by retinues of unobstructed awareness and skill, becoming the completely unwritten support and the completely uncreated dependent, thereby directly seeing one's own nature. Fourteenth, casting the flower of awareness and bestowing a secret name: You Take the essence of your awareness in the form of A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, literal meaning: A) from your heart, and whichever deity it falls upon, think that it is related to that one of the nine deities, focus your eyes and awareness on it at the same time, and recite after this: Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal meaning: Hūṃ)! In this mandala of unchanging reality, to the assembly of deities of uncreated completeness, I offer the flower of unobstructed manifestation of awareness, may it descend without duality or acceptance! As you cast your awareness far away, cast the flower at the same time. If it falls in the center, bestow a corresponding secret name according to the category of where it falls, such as vast space. From now on, understand it only according to the meaning of that name, and it is important to abandon attachment to ordinary names. These are the rituals for perfectly entering the unchanging mandala of the dharmadhatu. Second, the actual introduction to effortless, self-abiding self-nature has four parts: Engaging in unobstructed practice with the primordial pure deity; Obscuring the darkness of ignorance with symbolic empowerments that are similar and superior; Introducing the naked vision of the dharmakaya with the empowerment of the total infusion of awareness; Transforming the empowerment received through the spontaneously perfect empowerment into liberation. The first part has two aspects: The outer aspect is to offer praise to the unobstructed, powerful manifestations of the deity, which has already been done well above. The inner aspect is to practice the primordial purity of the assembly of deities of one decisive meaning. In order to fully demonstrate it without mixing it with the lower mantras, the order must be followed. Among them, although only the names are similar, the differences in activities are actually very superior, with both extensive and concise versions, depending on the situation.

Here, in order to rectify the ritual practice of the ninth chapter of the Condensed Essence, both teacher and students are instructed to practice. Therefore, please follow the meaning of the Vajra words and engage in the ritual practice without distraction. Among these, first is to establish the deities of the true meaning in the mandala of the natural state, allowing them to self-arise clearly: Ah! In the center of the space of the Alaya, In this unwritten, self-arisen mandala, The unchanging essence of mind, the supreme lord, Is surrounded by the unceasing power of awareness. The uncreated, completely perfect assembly of deities, In the center, upon a seat of space, Beyond the pure essence of ignorance, Beyond thought, the unborn Dharmakaya abides. In the east, upon a seat of sun and moon, The pure essence of anger, without arising or ceasing, The spontaneously perfect Sambhogakaya abides. In the south, upon a seat of Garuda, The pure essence of pride, without memory, The unconstructed Nirmanakaya abides. In the west, upon a seat of the ocean, The pure essence of desire, body, speech, and mind, The indivisible Svabhavikakaya abides. In the north, upon a seat of wind, The pure essence of jealousy, complete with the four bodies, The Abhisambodhikakaya abides. They do not abide having been created, But abide in their own place, beyond effort and practice. The commonality and distinction of the five families, In the four corners, the uncreated goddesses abide. In the southeast, upon a lotus seat, Transforming the confused mind into the awakened mind, The attachment to smell is purified, The great goddess, the Wisdom Lady, abides. In the southwest, upon a lotus seat, Awareness is ungrasping, clear and pure, The nature of touch is purified, The great goddess, the Clear Lady, abides. In the northwest, upon a lotus seat, Without memory or intention, The nature of sound is purified, The great goddess, the Bliss Lady, abides. In the northeast, upon a lotus seat, The movement of mind is naturally pure, The sensation of taste is completely liberated, The non-dual goddess, the Empty Lady, abides. The commonality and distinction of the goddesses, The posture of the uncreated gatekeepers is: At the east gate, upon a cloud seat, Cutting off the magic of birth, The gatekeeper, the unborn, clear space, abides, Subduing the demons attached to the aggregates. At the south gate, upon a rainbow seat, Cutting off the suffering of sickness, The gatekeeper, the great one of natural purity, abides, Subduing the demons of the five poisons of affliction. In the west, upon a mirage seat, Cutting off the suffering of old age, The gatekeeper, the great one of self-liberation
