Without leaving even a trace. Then, gradually from villages and so on to Mount Meru and so on, in short, with the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) penetrate without obstruction even to the extent of the unimaginable realms of the world, and contemplate that not even a particle of substance remains, and that everything is completely dissolved into the nature of Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), and rest in that state for a moment. Second, the practice of skill on the inner aggregates: As before, by uttering the fierce and short Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable, those Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllables are again gathered. Contemplate that the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable, which has become as large as an elbow in height, pierces completely from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet, upwards, downwards, outwards, and inwards, so that you contemplate that not even a sesame seed of substance remains, and rest calmly in the state of emptiness, free from elaboration. By striving in this way, you will not be harmed by demonic forces in the meantime, and ultimately the aggregates will be liberated into the rainbow body of clear light. Third, seeking suppleness: First, actually plant a stick in the ground in front of you, about a cubit in length, or visualize such a stick clearly in your mind. Then, contemplate that there is a blue, clear, and radiant Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable in your heart. Then, by uttering a melodious and long song of Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), countless similar syllables of Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) suddenly emanate from that Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable. Those Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllables, with the head of one connected to the foot of another, appear like a rope or chain, and gradually coil around the stick in front of you from its base upwards, like a snake coiling around it, and when the end reaches the top of the stick, contemplate that there is a single, clear blue Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable, and by resting in that state for a moment, a feeling of clear and distinct awareness will arise. Then, again, as before, by continuing to utter the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable, the ropes of Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllables gradually unravel and dissolve completely, and finally all the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllables dissolve into one, and awareness is directed towards the single Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable in the heart, the basis of emanation. By doing this again and again, there is a need to be able to transform the object of focus to anything. Fourth, the method of introducing it into the path: First, contemplate that there is a blue Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable about a cubit long in your heart. Then, by uttering the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), contemplate that the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable shines and goes to your lap, or on your hand, or on any object in front of you. Again, by uttering the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), your heart

Gather the (attention) completely, and then recite "Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽)", proceed as before. After repeating this several times, for example, like a guest going out for business, visualize "Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽)" sometimes slowly moving through cities, villages, mountains, islands, islets, etc., and sometimes pausing slightly, reciting a long "Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽)". Sometimes visualize it moving swiftly like a shot arrow, reciting a short "Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽)". In addition, sometimes crawl like an insect, resting in various places; sometimes visualize it staying on treetops, high mountain peaks, etc., pausing for a while. Sometimes visualize it crossing rivers, moving in the riverbed, etc. In short, visualize it traveling through an unimaginably vast world, focusing single-mindedly on where you are going. Then, finally, visualize it returning from afar, resting in a comfortable place, such as on your hand, leg, or pillow. In this way, when reciting "Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽)", unite the breath and awareness, without being distracted outwards, place the attention on the object of focus, and in this way, discursive thoughts will naturally subside. This is necessary to bring the body, speech, and mind onto the path. By striving in this way, universally, one can purify the sins of body and speech, and eliminate obstacles. In particular, one can eliminate the attachment to language, and ultimately not fall into samsara again. Ultimately, one can attain the Sambhogakaya of speech vajra. Third, from the perspective of the mind, the preliminary practice of defining the three: the place of origin, the place of dwelling, and the place of going: From the reductio ad absurdum it says: The mind's initial place of origin, the intermediate place of dwelling, and the final place of going; like this, by examining the three, tame the mind, understand the nature of the mind. Therefore, one should think like this: Alas, I have wandered in the three realms of samsara in the past, experiencing unimaginable suffering, which is because I did not understand the nature of the mind. Whether it is going upwards to attain the bliss of Buddhahood, or going downwards to wander in samsara and experience suffering, it is due to the self-aware mind. Therefore, if one does not realize the true state of the mind, then one will still wander endlessly in samsara, experiencing all kinds of suffering. Therefore, now one must realize the true state of the mind.
