The body's mudra, the speech's syllables, the mind's symbolic objects, gently dissolve into the three places of oneself, completing the two accumulations, purifying the two obscurations, fully obtaining the four empowerments, and contemplating the arising of great bliss wisdom is the recitation for gathering blessings for one's own benefit. Again, light radiates as before, touching all sentient beings, purifying all diseases, evil spirits, and sins. All sentient beings are established in the state of the mandala wheel of glorious Vajrasattva. Contemplating the gathering back and dissolving into the seed syllable in the heart is the recitation for the benefit of others' activities. These two visualizations, if one has great intelligence, can be practiced simultaneously, but if one cannot, it is permissible to practice them alternately. In any case, one should practice with the vast visualization just described. Furthermore, not only that, but knowing appearances as deities, sounds as mantras, thoughts as mind, and the nature of reality as the wheel of wisdom. Therefore, beginners should focus on the mantra garland from the beginning and recite slowly, which is essential. If one is practicing recitation, then the number recitation is six hundred thousand six-syllable mantras and one million hundred-syllable mantras, plus the completion. The time recitation is from six months to one month. The name recitation has no numerical limit. Third, the yoga of the mind's clear light nature: Having exerted oneself as much as possible in the yoga of deity, mantra, and wisdom, when gathering the session, first, after making a clear appearance dedication for all the support and supported to be gathered, then, from the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) in the heart, five-colored rays of light radiate, touching the outer vessel and inner essence, purifying them as deities. The light gradually dissolves like a lump, dissolving into the protective wheel. That dissolves into the palace. That also dissolves into the clearly visualized father and mother of one's own deity. The mother also dissolves into the father. The father dissolves into the wisdom hero. That also dissolves into the vajra in the heart. That also dissolves into the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽). The Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) itself becomes higher and higher, thinner and thinner, and finally its foot hook dissolves into the A (Tibetan: འ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: 阿), the A (Tibetan: འ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: 阿) dissolves into the belly of the Ha (Tibetan: ཧ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह, Sanskrit Romanization: ha, Chinese literal meaning: 哈), the belly of the Ha (Tibetan: ཧ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह, Sanskrit Romanization: ha, Chinese literal meaning: 哈) dissolves into the head of the Ha (Tibetan: ཧ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह, Sanskrit Romanization: ha, Chinese literal meaning: 哈), the head dissolves into the crescent moon, the crescent moon dissolves into the bindu, the bindu dissolves into the nada, until it is as subtle as a particle split from a hundred horse hairs, one focuses on it with one mind. Finally, contemplate it dissolving like a rainbow disappearing into the sky, or like the smoke of incense dissolving. Contemplate the union of clarity and emptiness, free from all extremes of elaboration.
