Children, listen, all fortunate ones, Do not diminish your diligence, with joy, Look at the mandala of Amitayus, Finally, become a Buddha in this pure land. In this way, generate joy. In order to request the actual empowerment, offer a mandala. Join your palms, holding flowers, and repeat the prayer: Kye! Great Vajradhara Lama, To the main deity Amitayus, I request the secret longevity empowerment, Please grant me complete fulfillment. Three times. Kyi ho! All of you of noble lineage, Today I make you equal to, The protector Amitayus, With one-pointed mind, be respectful. In this way, grant permission. You are at the eastern gate of the mandala, on the vajra and lotus throne, abiding in the form of the protector Amitayus Buddha, with the characteristics of perfection mentioned earlier. When the longevity vase is placed on the crown of the head, from the union of the Guru and Amitayus Buddha parents, which are inseparable, a stream of bodhicitta descends.
