Just as leaves naturally wither, the very awareness of the observer cannot be designated as "this." The nature of self-knowing, primordially pure and spontaneously accomplished wisdom, naturally arises. At that time, observe the nature of abiding when abiding, and observe the nature of moving when moving. Because of being free from the knowable and the knower, the unobstructed self-power of awareness naturally unfolds, and the state of primordial purity and emptiness is realized. As it says in 'Liberation from Bondage,' "All internal and external discriminations are liberated into primordial emptiness." And also, "If the ground of all is known to be completely pure, then the meaning of the ground is manifested, and liberation occurs in its own place." So it is said. Now, one might think, the examination of the three places of arising, dwelling, and ceasing has occurred before. Previously, it was examining the object and thereby establishing its non-existence, but here it is examining the subject and thereby establishing it upon its nature. As the great omniscient Dharma Lord said, previously it was establishing the mind as rootless and baseless, and afterwards it is showing the state of equanimity in the meaning that has been established. Second, the actual introduction to the nature of awareness is threefold: introducing through the method of transferring blessings, introducing on the basis of the view of reality, and introducing on the basis of experiential practice. First, a vast gathering and offering is arranged, and offerings and prayers are made. The students offer mandalas. With the body in the correct posture, the one who is giving the introduction is taken as the object of meditation, and the visualization sequence that was previously explained in Guru Yoga is applied. That is, generate certainty in the nature of being the embodiment of all refuge, in which all faults are exhausted, all qualities are perfected, and all needs are granted, entrusting oneself with the attitude of "You know everything," and completely trusting. Pray to the noble root and lineage gurus, thinking with immeasurable compassion, "Bless my being, I pray that the special realization of the profound path may arise in my being," generating unbearable devotion and fervor, to the point of shedding tears. Then the guru says, "I pray to Dharmakaya Samantabhadra, bless that the realization of the profound path may arise in my being," etc., and after the blessings are bestowed through the lineage prayer, the guru dissolves into light with immeasurable compassion, and dissolves from the crown of the student's head, thereby making the student's body, speech, and mind,

When the wisdom is released and allowed to settle in the state of indivisibility and freedom from elaboration of the Vajra Three of the Lama, a roar of blessings arises. The appearances of the three doors merge with the Lama. Conceptual thoughts arise as devotion. By gently releasing in that state, the radiance of awareness dawns as devotion. When inherent grasping arises without obstruction, devotion is liberated into self-awareness. Self-awareness is said to be liberated into the realm of unborn, primordial purity. In that state, without rejection or acceptance, allow it to rest naturally. Although this is not in the essential direct teachings, it is extremely blessed for the practice and experience of the Lamas to arise quickly. Second, introducing the nature of reality on the view: From the Meaning Instructions: Then, introduce conceptual thought as mind, mind as emptiness, emptiness as appearance, appearance and emptiness as non-dual, non-duality as self-liberation, the five poisons as self-liberation, the six aggregates as self-liberation. Thus, seven categories are taught. First, introducing conceptual thought as mind: From placing the three doors naturally, allow any phenomenon of appearance and sound to arise vividly in the mind. Thus, all phenomena that appear in various ways are merely illusions of one's own conceptual thoughts, like the appearances of a dream, and there is not even a particle of truth to be found in external objects. Because, on one basis, different appearances appear to each of the six realms and other dissimilar beings. Moreover, even the same individual is uncertain about enemies and friends due to different conceptual thoughts. No matter how conceptual thoughts arise in the mind, they do not move from the nature of mind, and because the object and subject are non-dual, it is determined that conceptual thought is mind. Moreover, if the essence of mind is not seen, not seen, and will not be seen even by the Buddhas, then what else can represent its characteristics other than the clearly arising conceptual thoughts? From the Clear Expanse: The mind's thoughts, reflections, and the play of awareness, all appearances and cognitions, are not separate from awareness. And, from the Gur: Apart from the precious mind, there is no Buddha and no sentient being. As it is said. Second, introducing mind as emptiness: That mind is also not established as existing, non-existing, arising, ceasing, permanent, impermanent, etc. Because it is free from all elaborations, it cannot be pointed out as "this," therefore it is determined to be emptiness.
