Also, thinking that it is a companion for the arising of non-conceptualization is the measure of proficiency. Seventh, training the mind of bodhicitta by contemplating non-conceptualization: Thus, in order to attain unsurpassed bodhi, one should seize the movement of conceptual thoughts with special means and train in non-conceptualization, thinking thus and grasping thoughts. Meditating that those minds that do not abide even for a moment are pitiable. By this, there is a need for the mind of bodhicitta to increase more and more. After abiding for a long time, one should always become accustomed to this, which is the measure of stability. These seven mind trainings are very important, because the seed of the incarnate body is placed from the subsequent text. It was said earlier that it is very important to practice this. If strong faith and compassion do not arise, then it is not suitable as a vessel for secret mantras, so let it be practiced. The order of the instructions for the seven practices of training the mind of bodhicitta is the second. Thus, after the mind is proficient, one should enter the expedient path of mantra. The generation stage is for the purpose of maturing the continuum and the temporary fruit. Here, it is said that one should train in the unattached wind and the attached bindu. In the first case, the explanation of the channels and winds to be known is also explained from the channel wheels and the collection of winds here, which is very extensive. Here, this text and the oral instructions of the winds are considered to be a part of accomplishing the supreme, so it is summarized and shown. The first is, in order to purify the navel's generating wheel, the heart's memory gathering wheel, the throat's taste gathering wheel, and the crown's top separately arranged wheel, the body is stable and relies on it. After bathing and massaging, etc., sit in a secluded place on a comfortable cushion, and the body assumes the vajra posture. The hands form the mudra of equipoise. Straighten the waist and bend the throat. Then there are five objects of focus: training in the color of the wind, shape, number, going and coming, and the combination of the vase. The first is, blow the breath, and then in one's own eyebrows, the nature of all the winds gathered, visualize a white, round bindu the size of a white mustard seed, focus the consciousness and meditate for a long time. Then one's own head is also like that.

Meditate on the same as the (white) color. Then the whole body. Then the surrounding environment. Then focus on all appearances in the three thousand worlds turning into a white blur, and practice repeatedly. The signs of practice are a light body, clear speech, and a stable mind. Second, regarding the shape: Then meditate on a white and blue wind bindu, about the size of a pea, from the space between the eyebrows to the tip of the nose, and keep your eyes fixed in that direction. Exhale slowly and deeply, visualizing the bindu going out smoothly, and the body and mind becoming empty and light. As it comes back, coordinate with the inhalation, visualizing the bindu appearing in the space between the eyebrows, and focus on the cool sensation. If it feels too cold, or the body feels cold and shivers, visualize the bindu as warm like fire. This way the mind can be grasped, and wherever the target is directed, it will appear as such, which is the sign of proficiency. If even that doesn't control the thoughts, third, one must learn to count: Keep the body in the same posture as before, and train the awareness to synchronize with the movement of the breath. As the breath goes out, direct the awareness at the same time and meditate. As the breath comes in, do the same. Thus, counting one exhale and one inhale as one, count from one to two. Similarly, by counting, although there are twenty-one thousand six hundred breaths in a day, it is important to divide them into sessions and keep the awareness undistracted for about eight hundred breaths per session. After that, the thoughts will settle down, and the exhalation and inhalation will gradually become slow and long, and finally, if one can stay and remain for a long time, that is the sign of proficiency. Then, fourth, learn the going and coming: At your navel, visualize a skull cup, white on the outside and bright red on the inside, and inside the skull cup, visualize a blue wind vajra about the size of a cardamom seed. As you exhale, visualize the breath going far away from the nose. As you inhale, visualize the breath coming into the skull cup with a blue glow, and focus on the comfortable and relaxed feeling of the body. After that, when the thoughts settle down, visualize the breath gradually shortening, eventually stopping about sixteen finger-widths from the tip of the nose. Combine the breath with the inner going and coming, and it is important to keep the exhalation and inhalation long. Then, fifth, learn the practice of kumbhaka: As before, practice the breath several times beforehand. Visualize the vajra dissolving into the skull cup, melting completely, and transforming into a naturally appearing Tibetan letter “ཧ” (Tibetan: ཧ, Devanagari: ह, Romanized Sanskrit: ha, Literal Chinese meaning: ha) at the navel, and then visualize the abdomen filling with breath.
