Without doubt in the suffering of samsara, one cut severs all, one knowing knows all. By realizing the key point that there is no other teacher who can do it, one is free from the stain of doubt in samsara. External objects, the mind that grasps internally, and grasping sentient beings and Buddhas as two, grasping birth and death as two, I and mine, the grasper and the grasped. In short, all that appears in existence is arranged by one's own knowing mind and arises from the mind. In the interval where ultimate appearance and mind are not mixed, although it appears that there is the clinging of the alaya consciousness, appearance, mind, and existence, when one's own mind, the great seal, is perfected in the nature beyond mind, it is purified in its own place without being abandoned, so that all is pure, the play of the Dharmakaya, and it arises only from realizing one's own mind, so it is not aided by virtue. The meaning that one's own mind, the Dharmakaya, can never be changed, is the manifestation of the meaning that it has always been so. If it is reversed, one is free from the stain of hoping for one good Buddha, all of existence, samsara, and nirvana, in this clear and empty mind of one's own, like the sky, without distraction or non-distraction, without meditation or non-meditation, constantly and uninterruptedly abiding in the unmade and spontaneously accomplished state in the three times, so even if one practices, there is no one who practices, without knowledge, without bias, without hope or doubt, without calculating anything. Without action, beyond mind, this is called the Great Seal. Sixth, bringing non-meditation to exhaustion through self-arisen spontaneity is: one's own mind, the Dharmakaya, is unborn, the great self-arisen wisdom pervades all and is without form, without partiality and without gathering or scattering, without obstruction and without brightness or dimness, the sphere is completely pure like the center of the sky, not arising from causes and conditions, clear and unobstructed, the root of all samsara and nirvana, this ordinary consciousness, is the cause, sentient beings, the path, practice, the result, the three times of the Buddha, and there is no difference between good and bad, early and late. Thus, without breaking the rules, without diminishing the corners, this is the same as sentient beings being foolish and corrupted into evil, Buddhas being wise and transformed into good, becoming good through meditation, and not becoming bad through non-meditation. This is not something that happens suddenly, but is naturally spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, existing in the three times without time. It cannot be proven to exist, it cannot be abandoned as non-existent, its essence cannot be grasped, and its nature is uninterrupted, difficult to express in words.

Without a place to abide, and without contemplation by the mind, the ultimate truth transcends the realm of the mind. Samsara is primordially pure, mind is exhausted, and phenomena are exhausted. Even the subtle habits of grasping and conceptualization are exhausted. Separated from the mind of the one who meditates and the object of meditation, the self-illuminating awareness without a place to abide, manifestly realized without a basis or root. There is no abiding in a state of equipoise. The movement of subsequent cognition ceases, naked and unattached, stillness, the essence is clear, free from extremes. Because there is nothing to meditate on, carrying the nature of reality to the point of exhaustion is what is called the Dharmakaya. At that time, the two bodies are effortlessly and spontaneously accomplished. The Sambhogakaya appears but is without inherent existence, appearing to the disciples in a spontaneously pure manifestation. The Nirmanakaya arises to tame whatever needs to be tamed, appearing to impure disciples, accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings without effort. These are the bodies of great bliss, inseparable in nature. That is named the All-Knowing Buddha, not accomplished by having eyes, ears, nose, etc., but only the way the disciples' appearances manifest. This Mahamudra Dispelling Darkness Sun, transforms all of existence and samsara into primordial purity. Taming and self-liberating into its own nature, this is different from other methods and is particularly excellent. Even if the Buddhas of the three times were to confer, there would be nothing superior to this. The thoughts of the Buddhas of the three times, like the stars in the sky, are condensed into one, like the sun and moon. The essence of the Mahamudra Dispelling Darkness Sun, the profound heart essence of Orgyen Padmasambhava, is now complete. (Tibetan) May it meet with those who have karmic connections! Sanskrit Romanization: citta guhya, Literal Chinese Meaning: Mind Secret) Ema! This most secret heart essence, the Dharma entrusted to the hands of the Buddha, is the Dharma of the last fifty years of the age. May the aspiration at the end be firm, absorbed into the heart of the heart-son, Samaya! (Tibetan) ༼ཁཐཾ༽ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: खं, Sanskrit Romanization: kham, Literal Chinese Meaning: Space) སྨྰ༔ (Tibetan) རྒྱ་རྒྱ་རྒྱ༔ (Tibetan) This essence of the Dispelling Darkness Sun, is hidden in two places. Hold this special profound essence in your heart. This essence of the Mahamudra Sun, is me, the treasure revealer Ratna of the end times. From the sacred site of Lhodrak Kharchu, from the secret cave Palgyi Tagyün, on the thirteenth day of the Sheep Month of the Wood Horse Year, I extracted it. The son has taken the father's wealth. May this wish-fulfilling jewel dispel the darkness of ignorance of beings! Ema! I am fortunate! Shubham! The supplement to the Mahamudra Sun Essence, the Lamp of Clarity, is complete.
