Fifth, to introduce insight with the self-arisen nature of non-duality; fifth, to decide the limits of error and obscuration with actionless transcendence of mind; sixth, to deliver to the end point with effortless, spontaneously arising transcendence of mind. First, establishing the foundation of calm abiding through the uncorrected natural state: Letting go of external and internal activities, relax and rest in your own way on the seven aspects of meditation. Speech is uncorrected, cut off speaking. Mind is uncorrected, rest steadily in a state free from elaboration. Thus, each of the three—body, speech, and mind—is in its own natural, uncorrected state. Meet the mind without distraction, but without making anything in particular come to mind, just let go. Let awareness not scatter to any object, but rest loosely in a state free from fabrication and adulteration. At that time, if a thought arises, shatter it with a "PHAṬ(藏文,梵文天城体,phaṭ,meaning: cut)" and relax and rest as before. Thus, by practicing in accordance with your constitution and without interruption, the pain of coarse thoughts and sensations from before and after will subside. Relax and abide in bliss, clarity, and non-thought. This is the foundation of calm abiding being established, and the definitive meaning will be born in your being. It is important to gain warmth in this. Second, showing the signs of warmth in experience by clearing obstacles and enhancing realization: When practicing in this way, if sinking, excitement, etc., occur, the methods for clearing obstacles and enhancing realization are as follows: If a person has a strong bile constitution, sleepiness and drowsiness will occur. For this, one should have cool and plain food and clothing, exert effort in awareness, and prolong the recitation of "PHAṬ(藏文,梵文天城体,phaṭ,meaning: cut)". Pray to the lama. By looking at the nature of sinking, it is realized that it is unborn, and realization is enhanced. The samaya is to abandon sunlight and darkness. The method for enhancing realization is to fix the gaze straight ahead into the sky. By leaving awareness in a clear and lucid state, the strength of experience will arise. Second, if a person has a strong wind and cold constitution, the mind will wander and thoughts will arise one after another without settling down. To remedy this, rely on warm and oily food and clothing. In a warm and secluded place, when awareness wanders, lower the gaze and settle into the natural state. By looking at the nature of excitement, it is liberated into the unborn ground. The samaya is to abandon hail and distraction. The method for enhancing realization is to lower the gaze in front. If awareness is too loose, the body will leave its base. Rest in a state of "Seng nge(藏文,意义不明) Ye re drungs thon pa'i ngang du bzhag go(藏文,意义不明)". This will give rise to an experience of clarity and non-thought. Third, if a person has a strong phlegm constitution, lethargy will occur, and the power of awareness will not arise.

Attachment to abiding hinders effortless samadhi. To dispel this, food and clothing should be light, and coolness and warmth should be balanced; regulate cold and heat. PHAṬ (藏文,梵文天城体,phaṭ,Sanskrit Romanization: phaṭ, meaning: to shatter) By this, extol the prowess of awareness and clearly establish the view. By looking at the nature of looseness itself, it transforms into clarity and emptiness. The samaya is to abandon dampness and shadows. The method of bringing forth is to directly apply effort, leaving the un fabricated awareness in its natural state, the experience of bliss and clarity will arise. In this way, choose whichever of the three ways of looking is comfortable and practice it. Afterwards, if a sudden thought arises, do not abandon it. Because habitual tendencies are deeply ingrained, do not cut off the past that has passed; do not greet the future that has not yet come with thoughts of desire; do not fabricate the present with a deluded mind, but relax and release into the state of non-elaboration and beyond mind. By diligently meditating in this way, those with great skill will cut off the edges of thoughts, and by knowing samadhi and post-meditation to be non-dual, they will see the nature of mind. Even those with lesser abilities will turn away from attachment to samsaric phenomena, see the lama as a buddha, and develop a heart that does not desire meditation and letting go. Outwardly, they will not perceive the existence of the body; inwardly, they will not perceive the movement of breath; secretly, the experience of bliss, clarity, and non-thought will gradually arise. Third, the khenpo's cutting through to show naked awareness is: on the basis of samadhi, hold onto the movement of post-meditation itself. If you are attached to the thick experience of calm abiding, because you do not recognize the movement of post-meditation as dharmata, do not place conceptual thoughts into the original flow. If it moves, thinking that you cannot meditate, you will grasp the movement through its interdependence. Regarding this, do not regard whatever subtle or coarse habitual conceptual thoughts arise as faults. Nakedly look at its nature, form is color; the three, going, coming, and abiding, are pure in their own nature; the nature is emptiness, and it cannot be pointed out as "this is it." Like the sky, naturally abide on the basis of samadhi. So, is the abiding in the unborn state of samadhi dharmakaya, and the arising of various post-meditation thoughts, whose nature is emptiness, are these two one or different? Upon observing, these two are of the same nature, therefore it is determined to be non-dual. So, is it only the conceptual thought that abides in the dharmakaya, or does everything abide in the dharmakaya? After observing, whatever arises, whether liking or disliking, pursue its nature to the end; the nature is emptiness, and everything is thoroughly clear. For example, like a water bubble, the arising and dissolving of conceptual thoughts occur simultaneously, ah, meditation!
