Summoning the life force from the east, a conch shell horn with a lion's head; summoning the life force from the south, an iron horn with a tiger's head; summoning the life force from the west, a rhinoceros horn with a bear's head; summoning the life force from the north, a golden horn with a garuda's head; nine heads, nine eyes, nine faces, and necks; nine hands, nine feet, nine minds; with nine feet running through the empty realms for the life force; with nine eyes glaring and tormenting enemies and obstacles; with nine hearts thinking of enemies and obstacles; with nine hands extracting the mind from within; with nine faces consuming without sweet words; with nine tongues drinking the blood of decay; quickly lead the enemies and obstacles here; inflict punishment upon the life-stealing butchers; the time for your vows has come; quickly seize the life, soul, and vital essence written in name and form; accomplish the entrusted tasks. Thus, invoke. The method of separating the deities: fumigate with separating substances, and from my nostrils and pores, and from within the smoke clouds of the substances, emanate immeasurable wrathful hosts, working day and night, with the faces and wings of birds and owls. Visualize his guardian deities being expelled like bird feathers carried away by the wind, or crows chased away by stones, and then recite the mantras to separate the five deities individually. Om!
