With loving consideration, I beseech you to bestow the empowerment of accomplishment upon Jambhala, the chief of the Yakshas. Repeat three times. Having made this request, since it involves proclaiming secret vows and granting blessings, please listen attentively. This is the great Yaksha Time, the master of powerful blessings and abilities. If you can protect the vows as you would your own life, then empowerment will be granted, otherwise not. Thus admonishing, bestow the nectar of the vow water. Vow to never transgress the vows as instructed, and recite the words of the vow. Repeat after me: Do not transgress the Vajra vow. (Tibetan: ས་མ་ཡ་ན་ར་ཀན།, Sanskrit Devanagari: समय नरक, Sanskrit Romanization: samaya naraka, Literal Chinese meaning: Vow Hell). Then, in order to completely purify the continuum, in front of the Three Roots, the Lord of Secrets, and the mandala of the Yaksha deities generated in front, who are surrounded like a dense cloud, together with all sentient beings pervading space, with the intention of taking refuge until enlightenment, repeat after me: Homage! (Tibetan: ན་མོ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: नमः, Sanskrit Romanization: namaḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage). Repeat "I and the three realms" etc. three times as in the ritual. In order to clearly obtain the excellent Bodhicitta with the nature of aspiration and entry, repeat after me: I, for the benefit of all sentient beings, etc., three times. In order to clearly obtain the Samadhi of the eight branches of continuous confession, recite each word and meaning one by one, and repeat after me: Vajra Master, Buddha Glorious, etc. Then, because it is establishing the basis of empowerment and descending the wisdom being, restrain the key points of the three doors and focus single-pointedly on this visualization: Cleanse with the water of the activity vase and Amrita, purify with Svabhava. All phenomena are without object of focus, from within the clear light of emptiness, in the place where you are, on the pistil of various lotuses, on the sun disc, on the precious treasure vase and the seat of the union of the Yaksha male and female, your own mind is the syllable HUNG, dark blue, blazing with light, marked with a Vajra HUNG. From it radiate immeasurable rays of light, gathering and dissolving all the wealth and essence of Samsara and Nirvana, transforming into a mass of dark blue light. From that, in an instant, you become the Bhagavan Protector Jambhala, your body color is dark and oily, shining with radiance, short, with a fierce and wrathful demeanor, one face, three eyes, eyebrows furrowed, four fangs bared.
