Maintain a state of mind without making any specific thoughts. Then, place a flower on the disciple's head and stabilize it by reciting Om Ah Hum (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:ओम् आः हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ āḥ hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Om Ah Hum). There are two benefits to this: temporarily, the mind will incline towards the Dharma; ultimately, one will attain a Vajra-like Samadhi of wisdom, knowing all things as they are and as they appear. Next is the അനുജ്ഞཱ (permission) of qualities and activities. First, make a request: From this time onwards, until I have not attained enlightenment, may the Lord Manjushri be my Guru. Make this request three times. Then, entrust the name to the disciple's hand and bestow the അനുജ്ഞཱ (permission). There are two benefits to this: temporarily, one will be skilled in all fields of knowledge and accomplish the benefit of sentient beings; ultimately, one will become equal to the qualities and activities possessed by Manjushri. How the main one, etc., and the Mandala, from today onwards, etc. Subsequent activities are performed in the usual manner. Then is the dedication: By whatever merit I have obtained from this accomplishment, may all beings obtain the wisdom of the Sugata. Then, ask for forgiveness. Take the Torma to a clean place. Dissolve the Mandala. Recite auspicious words. The ritual of the White Manjushri അനുജ്ഞཱ (permission) is according to the practice of Pandit Shakya Shri, compiled by the translator Jampa'i Pal. May there be auspiciousness always! A collection of the root Sadhana of White Manjushri and the four Karma rituals. Extremely white and radiant, in the center of the ocean, on the stamen of a lotus, born from the stem, above the moon, the venerable Manjushri, holding the form of a youth, seated in Vajra posture, like a snow mountain. One face, two arms, bestowing the supreme mudra, holding an Utpala flower, I prostrate to you, Manjushri. Having praised in this way, regarding his Sadhana ritual, I will clearly explain it according to the tradition of the wise. There are two parts to this: the root Sadhana and the presentation of minor activities. The first part has four: preliminaries, the main part of deity generation, recitation, and concluding activities. The first is to precede with the four immeasurables, dispel the darkness of ignorance of all sentient beings and place them in the light of wisdom. For that purpose, thinking to accomplish Manjushri,

Meditate on the mind. Then, as a preliminary, meditate on all phenomena of existence and non-existence as being empty with the Svabhava mantra. The main practice is to generate the deity: From emptiness, from Bam (Tibetan: བཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Bam) arises a white and vast ocean, the edges adorned with turquoise, upon which various elephants reside, and above the ocean various flowers bloom, adorned with melodious water birds singing. In the center of that, from a yellow-green Bam (Tibetan: བཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Bam) arises a lotus tree with branches and leaves made of gold, petals blooming, and in the center there is an eight-petaled lotus with red-yellow stamens, upon which from A (Tibetan: ཨ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) arises a full moon disc. In the center of that, one's own mind becomes a single white A (Tibetan: ཨ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, Chinese literal meaning: A). From that, immeasurable light radiates, offering to the noble ones, purifying the obscurations of delusion of all sentient beings, and placing them in the light of wisdom. The light rays gather back and completely transform, and oneself becomes Manjushri, with a white body, one face and two arms, the right hand giving the supreme, the left hand holding the stem of an Utpala flower at the heart, with the flower blooming near the ear, upon which rests a hundred thousand texts. The legs are in the vajra posture, adorned with silk and precious jewels, and one should meditate as being about sixteen years old. The practice of recitation: In the center of one's heart, at the tip pointing upwards, there is a white six-spoked wheel, with A (Tibetan: ཨ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) at the center, and the six letters written on the six spokes starting from the front, visualizing it rotating clockwise without touching the wheel. Then, the wheel rotates to the right and the letters rotate to the left, visualizing all sins and obscurations being purified. Reciting Om Vakye Dam Namah (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཝཱཀྱེ་དཾ་ན་མཿ) three million times is the recitation of quantity. Reciting for one month is the recitation of time. Seeing the face and hearing the voice, or seeing texts and weapons, or picking flowers, or lighting lamps, the sun and moon rising, or banners fluttering, playing musical instruments, flying in the sky, the body burning with fire, crossing water, wearing white clothes, etc., dreaming of these are the signs of accomplishment in recitation. Subsequent actions: Om Sarva Tathagata Arya Manjushri Argham Pratitsa Ye Svaha (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཨཱརྻ་མཉྫུ་ཤྲཱི་ཨརྒྷཾ་པྲ་ཏཱིཙྪ་ཡེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།) With this, offer water. Pushpe offer flowers. Dhupe offer incense. Aloke offer light. Gandhe offer scented water. Naividyam offer
