Whoever dwells in the center of the door, Hook, lasso, iron chain, bell, Arising from the essence of faith and so on, I prostrate to the gatekeepers. Those who dwell in the porch of the door, Maitreya and the sixteen others, Those who dwell in places such as Joy, I prostrate to the Bodhisattvas. In the middle of the porch of Tarana, The sixteen peerless heroes, Having accomplished the grounds and perfections, They dwell by the power of their lineage, I prostrate. Holding the symbols of the Teacher, Holding bowl, staff, and scriptures, Possessing all the qualities of learning and practice, I prostrate to the Shravakas. Relying on the meaning of dependent origination, The twelve noble Pratyekabuddhas, Having fully entered into arising and ceasing, I prostrate to the chief of the Pratyekabuddhas. Wrathful ones with the appearance of Rakshasas, Adorned with snakes and hideous heads, With tiger skins wrapped around their bodies, I prostrate to the appearance of the three realms and so on. Those who dwell in the outer surroundings, Terrifying gods, nagas, planets, and stars, And the guardians of the directions, the great kings, I prostrate, And I praise all the worldly ones. I beseech the Bhagavan, the King of Glory who completely purifies all the lower realms, the All-Knowing One, the fully manifested assembly of deities, without remainder or omission, to perform the activity of completely purifying all the lower realms. Having spoken thus, from the seed-syllables in the hearts of all the deities, the light of the mantra radiates in five successive rays. Illuminating all beings of the three realms. Purifying the five afflictions in their continuums, transforming them into the nature of the five wisdoms, liberating them from all the lower realms of cause and effect.
