Ignorance and so on, In the great pure Dharmadhatu, With the two grasps of ignorant thought, With the delusion of grasping self and object, Because of the delusion of ignorance, the meaning is not understood, Because of the power of self-grasping, conceptual obscurations arise, For Dakinis, Dharma Protectors, and Guardian Deities, Having been harmed by defilement and decline, I confess to the Yidam Deity, I confess to the Dakinis and Dharma Protectors, And to those who lead and assist, May all faults be purified, May sickness and suffering be pacified, May the outer bath be as white as a conch shell, May the inner bath be as red as a spring, May the secret bath be as clear as crystal, May the sickness and decline of the body be removed, May the suffering and conceptual thoughts of the mind be removed, May leprosy, widowhood, hatred, and defilement be removed, May hearth-sores, inauspiciousness, and decline be removed. After bathing from yourself, just sprinkle (the water) on the ransom effigy, visualize that all defilements and impurities, turn into black smoke from the sense doors, and dissolve into the defilement effigy. Hūṃ! All sentient beings possess the essence of enlightenment, Suddenly obscured by the darkness of ignorance and non-understanding, May all sickness and suffering be purified, May they be eliminated in the clarity of the five wisdoms. Hūṃ! Eliminate, eliminate, may it be as white as the snow mountains! Eliminate, eliminate, may it be as red as copper! Eliminate, eliminate, may it be as clear as space! Hūṃ! Eliminate, the sickness of the body eliminate! Eliminate, the suffering of the mind eliminate! Eliminate, the obstacles to life eliminate! May it be clear in the emptiness of Dharmata! May it be purified in the self-illuminating state of equality! In the great non-dual union, beyond words and thoughts! May it abide in the state of primordial purity, Samantabhadra! The above mantra is recited. Secondly, the bathing by the bathing deities also has two aspects: bathing and washing. Bathing is done by relying on the supreme bathing deities, so contemplate in this way. In the sky in front, within the blazing fire of wisdom, is the supreme mother Vajravarahi, surrounded by the five classes of Dakinis. Behind her, in the east, is the assembly of deities of glorious Vajrasattva Akshobhya; in the south, is the assembly of deities of the protector Amoghasiddhi; in the west, is the assembly of deities of Buddha Amitabha.
