Showing the substances for self-protection: sandalwood, white guggul, and the ground five precious jewels, these should be worn on oneself! Gods, nagas, and people of pure lineage will rejoice! Peacock! Double bird! Rakshasa bird! Owl! The five feathers of the bush obscure those flying in the sky! With vajra kilas of sengdeng wood, sher wood, and juniper, obscure the three doors of body, speech, and mind! It is the protection of the three family protectors. With guggul, pine, and rhododendron, protect the three scents, senses, and three doors! The three fats of human, pig, and horse, the three bloods of human, horse, and dog, put in the samaya substances and five amritas, and you will protect all lower spirits and so on. Showing the method of mixing the substances: Grind finely and mix thoroughly, make it as thick as sheep's milk or yogurt. Put the substances into a skull, an inauspicious object, on the tripod of three vajra kilas, and perform a three-month retreat, completing the practice by reciting a million times. This is the secret substance showing the method of mixing substances. Ati! Now, practicing this is most important! Just white, don't want your own blood! Salt and iron are neither beneficial nor harmful to blood! The method of applying: If applying to a swelling, do not circle the edge! If applying to a wart, apply it to the top! If protecting against an evil direction, point the horn towards the evil direction! If protecting against a traveling disease, make bindus on the space between the eyebrows, the tip of the nose, the throat, and the heart! If an earth spirit is causing harm, take a pea-sized pill on an empty stomach! If carrying a corpse, apply it to the four secret places! If you are harmed by a ghost, do not let the body leave it!
