Although the Buddhas' body, speech, and mind are free from afflictions, in order to purify the obscurations of sentient beings' body, speech, and mind, by offering this bathing water to the Buddhas' body, speech, and mind, may the obscurations of sentient beings' body, speech, and mind be purified. Om Nama Sarva Tathagata Abhi, etc. Clothes that are unparalleled for those bodies, clean and free from impurities, therefore, wipe the body with them. Then, offer the excellent and fragrant upper garment that has been well-dyed to them. Offer various kinds of fine, thin, and soft clothes, and hundreds of excellent ornaments. Om Vajra Vastram Ah Hum. Then, pour the bathing water into another vase. This is the water of the six perfections, which purifies all impurities. Water that perfectly establishes the six perfections, I prostrate to the one who perfectly performs the bathing. ༴ By bathing with the water of the six rivers, after purifying the six habitual tendencies, to the one who has no faults, I prostrate to the one who perfectly performs the bathing. ༴ After bathing with the six fragrant waters, purifying the six impurities, and possessing the vast six qualities, the one who perfectly performs the bathing has no faults. ༴ By purifying the six impurities, possessing all qualities, for the purpose of offering to all Buddhas, I bathe with faith. In the "One Aspect of the Examination of the Nine Crests Tantra," it is said, "Also bathe with the supreme water of mantra." Therefore, the mantra or heart mantra name mantra of Amitabha and Medicine Buddha, whichever one it is: Om Bhaisajye... Om Amite, after that, for all the sins and obscurations of the object of focus, Shāntiṃ Kuru Ye Svāhā. Like that, insert it between each verse, and at the end, may all the sins and obscurations of the object of focus and all the opposing factors of the six perfections be purified, and may the six perfections be completely fulfilled. Attachment, hatred, and ignorance, these are the three poisons of the world. The Three Jewels have no poison. By the power of the truth of the Three Jewels, may all poisons be subdued. Mantra or dharani, and all the obscurations of the five poisons and three poisons of the object of focus, Shāntiṃ Kuru Ye Svāhā. Earth, water, fire, and wind, the four elements, the four elements are the father of poison, the four elements are also the mother of poison. By these true words of truth, may the poison of sentient beings become non-poisonous. Mantra or dharani, and the four elements of the object of focus and the poison arising from the four elements.
