Sprinkling Flowers and Generating the Mind of Enlightenment: Everyone stands holding flowers, and through recalling the qualities of the Three Jewels, one prays: "Here, may the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha, endowed with knowledge and conduct, the Sugata, the Knower of the World, the Tamer of Beings, the Unsurpassed, the Teacher of Gods and Humans, the Buddha Bhagavan, adorned with the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks of a great being, the master of all qualities, the Vajra family, the Ratna family, the Padma family, the Karma family, and the Tathagata family, and all the victorious ones with their sons residing in the boundless and limitless realms of the ten directions, for the benefit and happiness of all beings, including the gods, please come to these supports." I will cut the tree of birth from its roots. I will grind the sun of the Lord of Death into powder. I will dispel the darkness of ignorance. I will lead the unbelievers, outsiders, and those with wrong views into the right view and make them have faith. I will reverse the river of karma. I will dry up the ocean of existence. I will light the lamp of Dharma. I will show the path of enlightenment. I will lead them into patience and joy. Into the bliss of meditation.
