In the outer moat castles, insects and giant insects, bees and bumblebees, wasps and poisonous snakes, as well as scorpions and centipedes, gnaw at the flesh and bones of enemies and play. Vultures, crows, and owls, as well as eagles, vultures, crows, and many other carnivorous birds fly and hover, filling the sky. Jackals, lions, tigers, leopards, bears, brown bears, jerboas, and other ferocious beasts roar and devour flesh, wandering around, covering the earth.
