Having extracted them, he established them as instructions in extensive, intermediate, and concise forms, and bestowed them upon the fortunate king and subjects of Tibet. For the benefit of future disciples, he extensively propagated them in three treasure troves. Among them, the intermediate cycle of Tara Utpala was brought forth from Chumophuk in Mon by Gyalwa Chokyang Kyemthae, a monk and vajra holder blessed by Tso Gyal Tseden Gyaltsen. The extensive cycle of instructions, said to be hidden in the seventh treasure valley of Shang Zabu Lung and discovered by a reincarnation of a Dharma king, seems to be a treasure of Je Lama, but it was not actually taken. When he went to that area in the Water Tiger year (Tibetan calendar) in the eleventh month, at the age of twenty-four, he bestowed the vajra verses that resided as mind treasures. In the Water Ox month (Tibetan calendar) of the Fire Rabbit year of the Rabjung cycle, when he gathered with Chokgyur Lingpa, the great treasure revealer saw a special image of Tara that had emerged from the treasure. At that time, the image uttered "Good!" three times, and with its blessing, the profound essence of the mind treasure Tara was established, also belonging to this category. The concise Tara Who Protects from All Fears was hidden in Oyuk Yakder in Tsang. As it is said in the scriptures: "This treasure hidden in Oyuk Yakder, the signs of its extraction will appear without fail, and the treasure revealer will be known as Yakchar Ngönmo." It is prophesied that the emanation of the great translator Vairochana will be born near the treasure site during the fourth Rabjung cycle (1206-1265). It is said that from the Yakche Phramo rock in the valley called Tongdur, a branch of that place, extensive profound treasures of both Dharma and Bon, hidden by Vairochana, were extracted, and various activities for the benefit of beings were performed. These yellow scrolls of Tara were later re-hidden in Yerpa Sewa Lung, and Rongpa Dudul Lingpa brought them forth, and they remained as continuation treasures. Later, on the eighth day of the first month of the Earth Tiger year (1878) of the Rabjung cycle, the dakini Chandika offered yellow scrolls in a dream to the treasure revealer and accomplished one, the Chakravartin of the Ocean, Padma Osel Do-ngak Lingpa (7th Palchen Chokyi Wangchuk, 1864-1926), and such a vision occurred. Upon awakening, from the visibly appearing yellowish-green paper, two fingers wide and one finger long, filled with symbolic drawings, he determined (the treasure) and gradually transmitted it to the fortunate ones, bestowing the ripening and liberating

Through practices and other means, connect and begin offering the mandala. With palms together and holding flowers, recite this prayer. Swift and courageous mother, I bow to you. I desire great liberation. To that very empowerment and samaya, I go for refuge to the protector, the courageous mother. Lead me into the great vehicle's mansion, and bestow upon me wisdom and knowledge. (Repeat three times) To be a suitable vessel for empowerment, it is crucial to have a pure lineage. In the presence of the guru and the visualized mandala of the noble Tara, with the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas appearing as if physically present, we and all sentient beings equal to the extent of space, prostrate and take refuge, generate the supreme bodhicitta, and with unwavering intention, uphold all common and uncommon vows properly and truly. Repeat the following three times. Namo! (Namo!) Eliminating all fears and sufferings (etc., recite three times according to the ritual text). Then, in order to establish the basis for empowerment, the wisdom being is invoked, so focus on restraining the key points of the three doors, and meditate with single-pointed concentration in this way. Sprinkle water from the action vase. Recite the action mantra, and purify with Purify all phenomena of grasping and being grasped into the state of clear light emptiness. From within emptiness, in a pure vessel, in the center of a pure land adorned with turquoise leaves, in the midst of wondrous and complete adornments. In the place where you all reside, on top of a lotus and moon mandala, visualize the essence as pure, the nature of your own awareness as a clear green From it, rays of light emanate, offering to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, purifying the two obscurations and habitual tendencies of all sentient beings. Gathering back, it transforms into a green lotus marked with the From this, in an instant, you all become the venerable Tara, with a green body, possessing a peaceful and smiling demeanor. Hair dark and lustrous, flowing freely. Adorned with silk scarves, precious jewels, and garlands of flowers. The right hand bestows the supreme gift, extended on the knee, and the left hand at the heart, with thumb and forefinger joined, holding a stem of a green lotus. With both legs in a half-lotus posture, residing in the expanse of five blazing lights of wisdom. Surrounded by the eight fear protectors, twenty-one emanations, one hundred and eight names, and other manifestations of play.
