The king of gods, Indra, after requesting refuge from the noble Tara, offered the four types of torma offerings, repelling the evil war of the Asuras, and greatly boosting the morale of the white heavenly soldiers. In the middle, in the land of Zahor in India, when King Simhabhadra was sought after by the eight classes of spirits, causing all vessels and essences to decline, the master Garab Dorje, after requesting refuge from the noble Tara, offered the four types of torma offerings, repelling the battle of angry beings, and making Zahor prosperous and happy. Thereafter, in Samye in Tibet, when King Trisong Detsen faced attacks from armies on all four sides, and suffered from diseases, weapons, and famine, after being blessed by the master Padmasambhava, the mantra practitioner Atsara Sale, after requesting refuge from the noble Tara, offered the four types of torma offerings, immediately repelling the enemy's war, and bringing peace to the Tibetan region. Just as it happened in the past, today we patrons, in order to pacify diseases, famine, and war, to increase lifespan, merit, and wealth, to repel border wars and disturbances, and to subdue demons and obstacles, after requesting refuge from the noble Tara, arrange the four types of torma offerings. When inviting with devotion and longing, may all the guests who serve the Three Jewels descend with the power of compassion! May all the guests of the protector's virtues come to this place with the power of samaya! May all the guests of obstructing forces and karmic debts gather in a peaceful and respectful manner! May all the guests of compassion for the six realms gather here with joy and happiness! Please be seated on your respective pleasing seats! Enjoy the offerings of the torma! To the noble Jetsun Tara, and the mother of compassion who saves from the eight fears, the twenty-one emanated goddesses, the assembly of Tara with one hundred and eight names, who reside here as the main guests, the Lama, Buddha, Yidam deity, the sacred Dharma, the noble Sangha community, including the heroes and dakinis of the three places, to the guests who serve the Three Jewels, I offer with respectful mind. Having accepted with the power of compassion, may you pacify the diseases, evil spirits, sins, and obscurations of us teachers, disciples, and patrons, and increase our lifespan, merit, and wisdom. Having blessed us with great compassion, I pray that you make us inseparable from you! Thus, offer the extensive mantra of the Treasury of Space. The second part is the offering to the guests of the Protector of Qualities: Om! To the glorious Mahakala, and the black goddess Ra Ma Ti, the seventy assemblies of Tsangri Palgon, the classes of beings who protect the white side, the lords of power and miraculous abilities, to the guests of the Protector of Qualities, I offer with devotion. Having accepted with the power of vows, may you dispel all obstacles and hindrances of us teachers, disciples, and patrons, and pacify diseases, evil spirits, and harms. Increase lifespan, merit, wealth, and fame, gather people, wealth, and food into our power, subdue enemies, demons, and classes of beings.
