Even if it is only the size of a "Gundhe" (a type of medicinal pill), it is the name for a general collection of all pills. Therefore, the right hand holds the pill on the knee, and the left hand holds a string of neem (lung tang) beads. Alternatively, the right hand can hold a golden vajra, and the left hand can hold the pill at the heart, or hold a string of neem beads. Here, the former is preferred. The ears are adorned with conch shells that shimmer with crystal light, and the feet are seated in the lotus posture on a sun and moon cushion. Meditate on being surrounded by hundreds of thousands of accomplished curse-wielding sages. Generate yourself as inseparable from the deity, or merely distinguish the recitation space. This is the common practice of the Nyingma school, so it is acceptable here as well. However, some earlier lineages treat the self and the deity as distinct. In that case, use a single verse of realization to clearly establish both the self and the support-torma as deities. If there is no support-torma, visualize the upper third of the torma as the deity, and the lower part as nectar and offering substances. The wisdom infusion and other recitation visualizations should be performed simultaneously for both the self and the deity. The form of the deity is like a reflection in a mirror, appearing empty, clear, and unobstructed. Maintain a firm sense of pride in being the pure sage, and remember that all phenomena are empty in essence, but manifest as the self-display of wisdom in whatever form is necessary to tame beings. When reciting based on this pure recollection, first place the mala in the left palm with the guru bead facing up. Purify and cleanse. From emptiness, the guru bead transforms into Vajrapani, a peaceful sage with complete ornaments and attire. Each bead of the mala transforms into hundreds of thousands of emanation sages surrounding him. The three places are marked with three seed syllables. From those syllables, rays of light emanate, inviting the wisdom being identical to oneself, (Tibetan: བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रसमाजः, Sanskrit Romanization: vajrasamājaḥ, meaning: Vajra Samaja), (Tibetan: ཛཿཧཱུྃ་བཾ་ཧོཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: जः हुं बं होः, Sanskrit Romanization: jaḥ hūṃ baṃ hoḥ, meaning: Jaḥ Hūṃ Baṃ Hoḥ), and becoming inseparable. Make offerings with Om Vajra Argham (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཨརྒྷཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओṃ वज्र अर्घं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra arghaṃ, meaning: Om Vajra Argham) and so on. Praise because it is worthy of praise. Recite one hundred and eight times or as much as possible, and then recite Yangsal (clarification mantras) and the Heart Sutra (Tendrel Nyingpo) three times each. The deity dissolves into light and transforms into the form of the mala. Believe in this way, and bless the mala by blowing on the transformation mantra and the lineage mantra. The visualization for recitation is as follows: At the heart of the deity, on top of a sun disc, is a blue Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, meaning: Hūṃ) syllable. Around it, starting from the front and moving clockwise, is a string of Traṃ Du mantras like a lapis lazuli mala. Focus on all of them radiating light, which is the basis for recitation. Upon this, clarity and appearance arise.

Om. Due to the recitation, rays of light, like the first rays of dawn, emanate from the seed syllable and mantra garland. They fill the inside of the body. All sins, obscurations, diseases, and demonic influences are completely purified. Rays of light radiate outward from the heart, at the tip of which are offering goddesses holding various kinds of offerings. Or the light itself transforms into inconceivable clouds of secret offerings, both internal and external, and abides coextensive with the sky, the totality of gurus, yidams, buddhas, bodhisattvas, dakinis, and dharma protectors, and especially the secret lord, the great sage, who dwells in forests, caves with web-like structures, etc. Offering them joyful offerings, they are extremely pleased with the uncontaminated bliss, and their minds are inspired. All the blessings of the body, the great sage's peaceful form in various sizes. The speech is the self-arisen mantra and the garland of Āli (आलि, Sanskrit vowels) and Kāli (कालि, Sanskrit consonants), proclaiming its own sound. The mind is in the form of the five families' hand symbols, pills, rosaries, etc., descending like dust swirling in the sunlight, dissolving into one's own three places, purifying the obscurations of the three doors. One receives empowerment and blessings. One becomes inseparable from the three secrets of the great sage. Also dissolving into the front generation, thinking that the blessings and splendor are blazing, is the recitation of self-benefit blessings. Furthermore, rays of light radiate, purifying the two obscurations and their habitual tendencies of all sentient beings included in the four births and five paths. Also liberating the Hearers, Solitary Realizers, etc., from the obscuration of knowledge, and placing all beings in the state of the secret lord, the great sage. Visualizing the pure vessel realm transforming into the essence of the deities, is the recitation of other-benefit activity. Finally, visualizing appearance as the form of a deity, sound as the melody of mantra, and thoughts as the nature of great wisdom, self and other being undifferentiated, samsara and nirvana being of equal taste, is the recitation of non-dual union. The first of these is the approach practice that relies on this, and the latter two can be designated as signs of accomplishment, but they are merely terms of internal subdivisions. The way to recite is: outwardly, recite aloud as usual; inwardly, recite in a whisper; secretly, there are generally said to be three kinds of vajra recitation, but here, the main emphasis is on reciting in a whisper that can be heard as mentioned above. The quantity is: In the instructions of the "Quintessence of the Three Essentials" commentary, it says: "First, recite the essence of life a hundred thousand or ten million times." Therefore, it is best to recite a hundred thousand syllables.
