The Concise and Clear Explanation of the Drongsrong Loktri Peaceful and Wrathful Recitation Manual. Infinite Wisdom. The Concise and Clear Explanation of the Drongsrong Loktri Peaceful and Wrathful Recitation Manual. Infinite Wisdom. This is the treatise called "The Concise and Clear Explanation of the Drangsong Loktri Peaceful and Wrathful Recitation Manual." Namo Guru Guhyapataye. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning) With the thunderbolt of mantra curses, Crushing the rock mountains of the eight classes of the wicked. The powerful emanation of the Lord of Secrets, I respectfully bow to the peaceful and wrathful Drangsong. The profound door of the lower treasure, With the key of the writing style instructions, Well opened with the lineage of vidyadharas, Easily practice in this secret treasury. Thus, the great glorious Vajrapani, the holder of the secrets of all the Buddhas, himself, in the degenerate age, in order to easily destroy the army of the unruly and wicked eight classes, with the sharp razor of fierce mantras and the irresistible fire of the thunderbolt of the power of true words and curses, manifested as the peaceful and wrathful form of Drangsong. Possessing eight great defining terms, three types of tantras, eight kinds of meaning instructions, etc., the teachings called "Fierce Mantra Loktri Pala," which originated from the precepts of the upper and lower treasures, in order to practice them, it is necessary to first thoroughly practice the recitation. Therefore, the practitioner who has received empowerment in the mandala of the Eight Great Herukas and has well received the entrustment of this, before engaging in recitation and practice, accumulates merit by making tsa-tsas and offering bathing water, tsokhor, etc., to the peaceful and wrathful Drangsong, and performs the stages of purification of downfalls such as Vajrasattva meditation, recitation, fire puja, self-entry, etc., as much as possible in common. Actual practice is divided into three: preparing the equipment, the method of actual recitation and practice, and the subsequent activities, including additional meanings. The first is: the practice room is cleaned and decorated, and in the depths, images of the samaya are displayed. On the upper level of the two-tiered seat in front, in a clean vessel of precious substances, if the peaceful torma of Drangsong can be prepared as described in the Chöwang treasure text, then mix the flour of rice, sugar, and barley with clean water and milk. If not, then make a white, round, four-petaled lotus from clean grain flour, decorate it as beautifully as possible, place a tsa-tsa of the body image, and offer a white silk umbrella.

B. Arrange the white three, sweet three, and various fruits and foods. On the lower platform, place fierce tormas, red triangular tormas in copper and iron vessels, surrounded by eight identical ones, and encircled with hooks, adorned with volcano decorations, deity tsaklis, dark blue silk parasols, and Dharma protectors, both general and individual protectors of the treasure, adorned with flesh and blood on the right and left. Tormas for dakinis, nagas and demons, mad gods, crystal spirits, etc. Arrange the oath substances, offerings, medicinal alcohol, and pledges. Arrange rows of outer offerings in front. Offer tormas to the white obstructors and great kings. Gather all necessities, including the tsok implements. Merely the presence of these supports, etc., can prevent harm from the eight classes of beings or fierce demons of the degenerate age, due to the extremely profound and important key. If you wish to make a support torma as a side practice, like a permanent practice room, according to the wishes of Jetsun Ratna and his sons, then the materials for the peaceful torma of the sage are as mentioned above. Mix alcohol and Dharma medicine, knead with butter into a white circle, hollow inside. Like a stupa, have the life-force and protection wheel in front, and the reversal in the back. Adorn the top with the deity, the back with mantra plaques and mirrors, and silk parasols. Fill the vessel with grains, medicines, silks, fruits, jewels, etc. Place the suppression and reversal tsakra, which has the drawing of summoning and dissolving enemies and demons, and invite them to reside, placing the offering tormas in front as mentioned above. There, the deity and silk parasol are not necessary. The second part is the main practice. Generally, in both the treasure text, the key points of the deity, mantra, samadhi, substances, and wheels of samsara and nirvana are clearly explained, but apart from the brief ritual, there are no detailed recitation words. Therefore, following the method clarified by Dharma King Rinchen Phuntsok and his sons, later the Fifth Dalai Lama and Dharma King Tertön Glingpa each wrote ritual texts, two traditions have emerged, and there is not much difference whichever you rely on. The latter preserves the treasure text and the words of Je Ratna, and is not disturbed by too many additions, making it easy to carry and clear. Therefore, here too, based on the "Essence of the Activity Manual, Meaning Clearly Explained," it is recorded in two parts: peaceful practice and fierce practice. The first part is: place, utensils, self
