When disputes arose in the Buddha's teachings, the Dharma King and the great Panchen Lamas invited Padmasambhava to subdue the demons. Padmasambhava defeated the demonic forces through miraculous powers and debates. When the heretics cast evil spells, he went to the great charnel ground intersection and extracted the fierce Vajrakila lineage from the rock treasure. With the fourteen fierce mantras, he turned the heretics' own weapons against themselves, and killed the six teachers with thunderbolts. He destroyed all the demonic armies and caused the Buddha's teachings to flourish and spread widely. Thereafter, as the time was ripe for the flourishing of the Buddha's teachings in Tibet, the great Dharma King invited the master Padmasambhava to Tibet. He caused the three special supports of body, speech, and mind, and the teachings of sutra and tantra to flourish, mature, and spread widely. He stayed in Tibet for one hundred and eleven years, and in the seventy-third year, the year of the Tiger, in the great sacred places such as Samye, he bestowed the complete Yidam Gongdü (Mind Accomplishment) upon the fortunate and pure disciples. In particular, he bestowed this fierce mantra of the Dharma-protecting Dakini upon Yeshe Tsogyal, the emanation of the Dakini who subdues demons. She, with her unfailing dharani, wrote it on yellow Tibetan paper in a mixture of meat-eating Dakini script and Tibetan script. She placed it in a round copper gau (amulet box) containing the image of the deity and the complete forms of the twelve zodiac signs. In particular, she placed the special samaya substances, the life-force support, the sky-iron phurba (kila), and the hair of Jomo (the Dakini) herself together. It was buried as a secret treasure at Phawang, shaped like a lung, the sacred site of Tsangshik Dorje Drolo, the chief of the Tiger's Nest (Taktsang) places in Dokham (Eastern Tibet) for taming beings, with seven layers of walls built around it. When the time came for subduing during the degenerate age, the emanation of Hayagriva, the reincarnation of the hero Arya Sala, the great tertön (treasure revealer) Sangye Lingpa, or the great vidyadhara Taksham Nuden Dorje, unearthed it and kept it secret for five years. When the outer and inner signs manifested, it was finalized and bestowed upon the fortunate ones who had received the prophecy. Furthermore, the emanation of Kharchen Palgyi Wangchuk, the tertön Mati Ratna, unearthed it from the Sindhu River in the secret cave of Guru at the sacred site of Tangshing Gyalpo. The demon-subduing fierce mantra is also similar to this, with only slight differences in elaboration and abbreviation, and the empowerment and transmission were given.

就像众多的河流汇集成一个大洋一样。关于此（法）的伟大功德，佛陀曾简要地说过：未来此传承无论在何处兴盛，佛法都将得以弘扬光大；外道将会消失；邪见不复存在，禅定将会变得容易；因为这位空行母发愿为了佛法，所以她比其他任何人都殊胜七倍。仅仅念诵此（空行母）的咒语就能成就事业；仅仅忆念就能成就所愿；仅仅佩戴在身上就能守护免受侵害；仅仅书写就能增长福德；仅仅听闻就能获得加持；仅仅禅修就能获得成就；仅仅修持就能展现成就的征兆。如是宣说。像这样，对于具备两种宝藏的殊胜坛城，存在广略两种灌顶方式。此处，为了修持根本灌顶中的广大忿怒母的甚深命灌，自己应该做的事情已经提前完成了。作为你们的职责，首先为了请求进入坛城的法，请献上坛城。说完之后，开始献曼扎。像这样，曼扎献上之后，必须具备三种信心来祈请。也就是，对于具有传承和来源的，空行母心髓的特殊教导生起坚信的信心；进入这样甚深之法的门径后，修持并利益自己和他人的意乐的信心；抛弃对上师的庸俗观念，生起视上师与智慧空行母无二无别的欢喜的信心。生起这三种信心后，念诵此祈请文： 唉！金刚上师请垂听！为了成熟我的身语意三门，请允许我进入甚深密咒之门，恳请赐予空行母的殊胜灌顶！ （念诵）三遍。 像这样，听闻对于祈请者的种姓和根器进行观察。 吼！你们是谁，要做什么？ 能够如法守护誓言吗？ 如果不能，持有邪见的人请离开！ 这样提问后，回答此祈请文： 吼！我们是积累了资粮和具有业缘的人， 能够如法守护誓言。 无论您说什么

Like numerous rivers merging into one great ocean. Regarding the great qualities of this (dharma), the Buddha briefly stated: In the future, wherever this lineage flourishes, the Buddha's teachings will be propagated and expanded; non-Buddhists will disappear; wrong views will cease to exist, and meditation will become easy; because this Dakini has vowed for the sake of the Buddha's teachings, she is seven times more superior than anyone else. Merely reciting the mantra of this (Dakini) will accomplish activities; merely remembering will fulfill wishes; merely wearing it on the body will protect from harm; merely writing it will increase merit; merely hearing it will receive blessings; merely meditating will attain accomplishments; merely practicing it will show signs of accomplishment. Thus it was proclaimed. Like this, for the sacred mandala possessing two treasures, there are both extensive and concise methods of empowerment. Here, in order to accomplish the profound life empowerment of the extensive wrathful mother in the root empowerment, the things that one should do oneself have been completed in advance. As your duty, first, in order to request the Dharma of entering the mandala, please offer the mandala. After saying this, begin to offer the mandala. Like this, after the mandala has been offered, one must pray with three kinds of faith. That is, having faith in the special instructions of the Dakini's heart essence, which has lineage and source; having the faith of entering the gate of such profound Dharma, practicing and benefiting oneself and others; abandoning the ordinary concept of the lama, and generating the joyful faith of seeing the lama as inseparable from the wisdom Dakini. After generating these three faiths, recite this prayer: E! Vajra Master, please listen! In order to ripen my body, speech, and mind, please allow me to enter the gate of profound secret mantra, and request to bestow the supreme empowerment of the Dakini! (Recite) three times. Like this, listen to the examination of the lineage and vessel of the petitioner. Ho! Who are you and what do you want to do? Can you protect the vows properly? If you cannot, those with wrong views, please leave! After asking this, answer this prayer: Ho! We are those who have accumulated merit and have karmic connections, and we can protect the vows properly. Whatever you say
