Born into the lineage of Nyak Jñāna, in his youth he possessed all the qualities and characteristics of a great and holy being. He was learned in all the traditions of new and old tantras, the teachings and treasures. He cut through all additions and subtractions without bias. With the extraordinary armor of hardship and perseverance, he realized his own benefit through single-pointed practice. Having attained accomplishment, the fruit of his compassionate activities for the benefit of others ripened. The reality of the luminous Vajra Essence was completely revealed, and he knew the three times clearly. In the profound command of Padma, it is said: 'One called Dharma Raja will appear in the Tsangshang E-mar area. He is a son blessed by Hayagriva. Meeting him will cut the wheel of suffering in the lower realms.' Also, in the prophecy seal of Gongdu, it is said: 'At the foot of the Black Mountain in the northwest of Samye, a Dharma King speech emanation named Dharma will tame beings with the great conduct of the Zhang lineage.' Furthermore, in 'Vajrasattva Prophecy: Dispelling the Darkness of the Heart,' it is said: 'At the same time, in Nyangmé Nyilung, there will appear a speech emanation of the Dharma King named Kunga, who will attain the siddhi of illusion, peace, and wrath.' The name Kunga is because when this great Vidyadhara was young, his parents gave him the affectionate name Kunga Tenzin, hence the name Kunga. This incomparable great being received the complete transmission of Dza Bir. He gave this transmission to the wandering beggar Nyida Longsal. This brief biography of the lineage of the Lord of Yoga Dza Habir, a garland of jewels, was made by the wandering beggar of the degenerate age, Nyida Longsal. May the righteous astrologers guard this teaching! From the Rainbow Body Light Mass Self-Liberation, the History of the Union of Sun and Moon resides. Om Ah Hum Guru Dza Habir Siddhi! From the beginning, pure, without object, free from elaboration, space, spontaneously accomplished, unobstructed, self-luminous, free from names, union, all-pervading, boundless, compassion blazing, I prostrate to the feet of the Lord of Yoga Dza Bir! The giver of the supreme rainbow body, the arrangement of the outer, inner, and secret history of the Light Mass Self-Liberation, I request the Dharma protectors and the assembly of Dakinis to grant it! Here, I, the wandering beggar of the degenerate age, Nyida Longsal, make a brief account.

During the time of Ali, in all dreams and experiences, many women gathered to be my companions and playmates; when I slept at night, they also sat around the bed, warmly accompanying me; sometimes, a white woman who claimed to be the dakini Sukhasiddhi, adorned with various bone ornaments and jewels, appeared again and again, showing a very exquisite book, saying it was the Six Dharmas of Sukha, saying that if one practiced it, great things would be accomplished; she also showed the raising of the four continents of the nadi-prana illusory wheel, spreading the four continents, scattering the four continents, gathering the four continents, and blocking the nail door, and so on; that dakini accompanied me like body and shadow. Once, the aforementioned dakini transformed into an ugly woman, and with the curved knife in her right hand, she dissected her own body, clearly showing the three nadis, the five chakras, and countless other chakra-nadis, and also said that if one practiced like this, one would attain the rainbow body vajra body. After that, when I was ten years old, a scroll fell from the sky, about four fingers wide and of moderate length, written in exquisite small characters, with annotations on the back, very beautiful, falling into my hands. Later, when I learned to read, I found that it was the teachings of the Indian siddha Dzābir: how to eat wind as food, how to drink wind as drink, how to ride wind as a horse, how to wear wind as clothing, and how to alternately practice white and red bindus, thereby accomplishing the method of the stainless light body, among which there were also the elimination of obstacles and enhancement, etc., but I did not understand the meaning. I felt immense joy and placed it next to my pillow when I slept; later, that scroll was lost, and I felt pain like losing my heart; in Upper Ngari, even the name Dzābir was not heard. I thought that no matter which country he was in, I should go and consult him, so I abandoned my parents, relatives, property, and all appearances of this life, and came to the golden great monastery to study, but I was not interested in the sutras, because I thought that Dzogchen was my family dharma, so I sought the Dzogchen teachings from the crown ornament of the Nyingma school, the great vidyadhara Chögyal Dorje.
