Practice of burning for protection from Grin: I, Orgyen (Padmasambhava), extracted it from the secret tantra of the Horse Supreme Play and imparted it to the father and son, Lhase Bodhisattva. Syamya, Gya Gya Gya, Treasure Seal, Profound Seal, Khatham, Sopa Shikha Thatham. I, like the Gar's powerful master, have transcribed it clearly on yellow paper, and the scribe is the Wrathful Glorious One. Herein lies the empowerment of the Black Hayagriva, subduing all arrogance. Homage to the deity of the Horse Supreme Empowerment. The empowerment of all Buddhas is the path of wisdom; through this, supreme accomplishment and qualities are attained. Therefore, in a charnel ground, temple, or secluded place, examine the ground, raise the ground, purify the ground, and bless the ground. Bless the outer and inner offerings, torma, mandala colors, vase substances. Meditate on oneself as the deity, draw the mandala according to the scriptures. Arrange the outer and inner ornaments and the substances for practice. Straighten the ritual of the activity, offer the tsok and torma. Please with recitations, numbers, and sessions. From seeing the signs, take empowerment and accomplishment. Then, bring forth the worthy disciple after bathing. Offer prostrations and offerings, and make this supplication: Kye! Great Powerful Play, contemplate the mandala of glory. The essence of body, speech, and mind is Vajrasattva. We wish to enter this mandala. Please grant blessings and wisdom to nurture with rain. Thus, say three times, and the Vajra Master speaks thus and establishes the samaya: Kyeho! Fortunate one, lineage of Vajrasattva, son, with faith, enter this mandala. Wishing to enter, protect the three samayas, and strive diligently to accomplish siddhis. Thus saying, bind the face with silk, and also scatter flowers. Then, with the ten branches, accumulate merit, take refuge, generate bodhicitta, and the samayas of the five families, as they arise from the tantra, should be taken.
