. The lineage of instruction is extremely rare. In order to prevent it from disappearing, all the essential points of the King's Tradition are gathered here and presented in three Phowa (འཕོ་བ, transference). Although it is not related to other practices, this Phowa alone is a great practice that can stand on its own. Therefore, cherish and value this Dharma with a special affection for the unique ancestral Dharma of Tibet, and strive to practice it diligently. Second, the stages of gathering luminosity: When approaching the conclusion of the generation stage of the deity and mantra, all external supports dissolve into the internal supports. Then, gradually dissolving into light, they dissolve into oneself. The lama at the crown of the head also dissolves into oneself. Oneself also dissolves into the wisdom being at the heart. That dissolves into the samadhi being. That dissolves into the mantra garland. That dissolves into the seed syllable. That dissolves into a white bindu the size of a mustard seed. That also becomes increasingly subtle, and finally, visualize it vanishing from the size of one hundred thousandth of a hair. Abide in the natural state of emptiness, free from elaboration. When arising from that, with great compassion, recite "Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Mani (藏文:མ་ཎི,梵文天城体:मणि,梵文罗马拟音:maṇi,汉语字面意思:嘛呢), Padme (藏文:པདྨེ,梵文天城体:पद्मे,梵文罗马拟音:padme,汉语字面意思:呗美), Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽)" and instantly visualize the body of Great Compassion as illusory. This is the completion stage of the generation stage. If practiced repeatedly for a long time, it will become the supreme cause for realizing luminosity. The actual gathering after the generation stage is this. This is the presentation of the completion stage of the three Phowa. Either of these two can be used alternately as the gathering. However, even if one practices according to the Phowa and the stages, the following is the gathering stage spoken of in the practice of the King's Tradition, so it is related and is included within the category of the Phowa of Mind Luminosity, so it is also good. By the merit of practicing in this way, may I and all sentient beings become the cause for attaining the state of noble Avalokiteshvara, and dedicate the merit with aspirations. Similarly, at all times, in a state inseparable from the appearance of the deity and the natural sound of the mantra, perform prostrations, offerings, praises, tormas, water offerings, confess sins, rejoice in virtues, encourage and pray, offer mandalas, and all other virtuous deeds. Also, the profound completion stage should be practiced according to the oral instructions of the lama. The Buddhas are infinite and immeasurable, All are wondrous and extraordinary, Especially vowed to subdue the difficult to tame, Avalokiteshvara became the deity of Tibet.

Although there are countless teachings of the four billion doctrines, And the power of secret mantras is wondrous, The most supreme Dharma portion for Tibetans is the six-syllable mantra, Which is easy to read, easy to hold, and has unparalleled benefits. Thinking in this way, all sentient beings in the snowy lands Should increase their faith, devotion, and joy even more. Meditating on one deity reminds us of all Buddhas, Reciting one mantra is like reading all the sacred Dharma. The heart, speech, and body of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas Are gathered into one precious treasure chest. All the victorious ones of all directions and times greatly praise it, Therefore, it is worthy to diligently practice the meditation and accomplishment of Chenrezig from the depths of our hearts. Thus it is said. Secondly, in the Completion Stage, there are five aspects: establishing the support for meditation, how to cultivate or establish it, introducing the nature of mind as the great union of body and wisdom, dispelling obstacles, and recognizing the signs of experience. The first is: In a secluded place, on a comfortable cushion, the body posture should be in accordance with the norm. If continuing the Generation Stage, then the refuge and bodhicitta from above are sufficient. At the end of diligently practicing Guru Yoga, the body should adopt the seven-point posture for meditation, with the legs in the vajra posture. If that is not possible from the beginning, then adopt the bodhisattva posture. The hands should be in the meditation mudra or the fists placed on the thighs. The shoulders should be pushed back. The spine should be straight. The tongue should touch the palate. The teeth and lips should be in their natural position. The eyes should have a complete gaze, and then exhale three times to expel impurities. After that, let the breath flow naturally. Place a round, dark blue object that is not too large, about one cubit or half a cubit in front of you, or whatever is comfortable. With the eyes half-open and half-closed, gaze at it without wavering or moving. The mind should be without thoughts of the past, future, or present, and there should be just a slight awareness of not being distracted in the natural state. In this state, do not make any modifications or adjustments. Even if thoughts arise one after another, do not continue to follow them. Instead, catch them with awareness and let them be in their natural state. Beginners should not feel annoyed from the beginning, but should meditate in short sessions and many times. Also, sometimes visualize a one-finger-sized Chenrezig in the center of your forehead, with a halo of light, and at the tip of your nose, visualize a white HRIH with the breath going in and out, and in the center of your heart, visualize a full red moon with an indestructible bindu, as clear as a mustard seed. Any one of these three is fine. Similarly, visualize the space between the eyes and the tip of the nose.
