Not only does it show the way of blessing the mind-stream by fully bestowing the four empowerments based on the manifest appearance of the wisdom mandala of the nine deities of the noble Avalokiteśvara, but it also definitely indicates that Rigdzin Tertön Glingpa (Vidyadhara Treasure Lord of the Continent) directly saw Gyalwang Rinpoche (Victorious One Jewel) himself in the Noble Mind Nature Resting Place. From the moment when that one, who is non-different from the main deity of the mandala, bestowed it upon Rigdzin Chokyi Tulku (Supreme Vidyadhara Incarnation) Pema Trinley and Chögyal Tertön Glingpa (Dharma King Treasure Lord of the Continent), the lineage has come down to our venerable lamas without interruption. Such profound instructions also have two stages: the generation stage and the completion stage, which ripen the unripe and liberate the ripened. Here, the stage of empowerment is the time for practice. There are two types of activities: those of the Vajra Master and those of the Vajra disciples. Among them, the activities of the master are to practice and offer the great mandala through the non-duality of oneself, the front, and the vase, and to enter the mandala in order to attain equality with the deity by the master himself throwing the flower of wisdom, all of which have been completed beforehand without any addition or subtraction, just as in the practice of the venerable lama. Now, it is the turn of the Vajra disciples. There are two rituals: the ritual of entering the mandala and the ritual of empowerment after entering, and this is the time of entering. Among them, there are two types of entering: entering the outer symbolic mandala and entering the inner wisdom mandala. The preliminary parts of the outer entry, such as bathing, asking about lineage and capacity, receiving permission, and dispelling obstacles, have been completed. Now, in order to request the Dharma of entering the mandala from the deity who is non-different from the lama and the main deity of the mandala, please offer a mandala as a fee. After this exhortation, the disciples offer the mandala. After offering the mandala in this way, although the entering of the implements is described below, it is customary to do it here in order to maintain a close connection. In the past, you were blinded by thick clinging to dualistic concepts and did not see the assembly of deities of the mandala, or even if you did see it, you did not see this actual mandala. To symbolize this, please take turns binding your faces with red blindfolds. Oṃ Cakṣubandha Vāramana Ya Hūṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཙཀྵུ་བྷནྡྷ་ཝཱ་ར་མ་ན་ཡ་ཧ,梵文天城体:ओँ चक्षुबन्धवार मनय हुं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ cakṣubandha vāramana ya hūṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡,眼,束缚,遮盖,意,吽)

Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཱུྃ) Thus, blindfold them. Since it is not appropriate to see the deities of the mandala with a thousand hands, as a symbol of the hand, give each person a garland of five-colored utpala flowers. Oṃ puṣpa siddhi hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་པུཥྤ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐपुष्पसिद्धिहुँ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ puṣpa siddhi hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Oṃ, flower, accomplishment, Hūṃ) Thus, give the flowers. Then, for the sake of making supplications, contemplate in this way: Within this place, transformed into a vast and pure mandala of wisdom. May the teacher himself, the embodiment of all Buddhas of the three times, abide in the form of the noble Avalokiteśvara, with unwavering faith and intense devotion, and repeat the following: Lord of compassion of all Buddhas, within the mandala of Avalokiteśvara, may you guide us, the worthy vessels, and grant us maturation and liberation. Recite this three times and make supplications. For the sake of taking refuge, in the sky in front, the guru and the main deity of the mandala are inseparable, abiding in the form of the supreme Avalokiteśvara, surrounded by the three roots and the vast assembly of Buddhas, in their presence. From this time until the essence of enlightenment is reached, I take refuge, thinking thus and repeating the following: May I and all sentient beings as vast as space, before the deities of the mandala of the three roots, not recognize our own face, the glorious Vajrasattva of self-awareness, and take refuge in existence. Recite this three times. May these sentient beings as vast as space, who constantly engage in the causes and effects of suffering, be liberated from suffering and placed in the state of supreme enlightenment. For this purpose, I generate bodhicitta, thinking thus and repeating the following: The perfect and complete enlightenment that is inherently present within oneself, in order to see nakedly and liberate all beings, I practice the essence of unsurpassed yoga, and generate the mind to perform deeds for the benefit of others. Recite this three times. Then, in order to accumulate merit. Before the special field of merit accumulation, may all sentient beings, self and others, abide here, transforming into bodies equal to the dust particles of the Buddha-fields, prostrating. Offering clouds of offerings. Confessing sins. Rejoicing in virtues. Urging the turning of the wheel of Dharma. Praying not to pass into nirvana. Dedicating the merit to the unsurpassed great enlightenment, please keep these words in mind.
