In order to eliminate obstacles, in order to obtain immaculate and pure wisdom, I offer you foot-washing water. In order for all limitless sentient beings to eliminate the pain and diseases of ugly forms, in order to obtain good marks and characteristics, I offer you flowers. In order for all limitless sentient beings to eliminate all the impurities of promiscuity, in order to obtain undefiled and pure discipline, I offer you incense. In order for all limitless sentient beings to eliminate the darkness of ignorance and delusion, in order to obtain the light of clear wisdom, I offer you light. In order for all limitless sentient beings to eliminate the impurities of grasping and clinging to concepts, in order to obtain the supreme samadhi of non-conceptuality, I offer you scented water. In order for all limitless sentient beings to eliminate the bad food of hunger, thirst, and wrong livelihood, in order to obtain the supreme and wish-fulfilling food, I offer you food. In order for all limitless sentient beings to eliminate the bad situations of the evil realms of samsara, in order to obtain pure Buddha-fields, I offer you the mandala. In order for all limitless sentient beings to eliminate the bad sounds of evil paths and wrong ways, in order to obtain the pleasant voice of Brahma, I offer you musical instruments. The first praise is: From the realm of phenomena that is naturally pure, emptiness and great compassion are inseparable, possessing a body that pervades like the sky, I prostrate and praise you, the greatly compassionate one. Shining like Jambu River gold, the splendor of your body surpasses a thousand suns, like a precious golden offering pillar, I prostrate and praise the Lord of the World. Called the glory that surpasses all rays, although you have already attained enlightenment since the past, by the power of compassion, you hold the conduct of the ten bhumis, I prostrate and praise the protector of beings, Avalokiteshvara.
